Have a great vacation.

Your post is definitely an inspiration and I agree that a sense of humor and realistic goals and expectations are key. Thank you for putting it into perspective.

I'm sorry for your loss. Stay strong and seek counseling or someone to talk to that can help you through this tough time. You are important and your family would want you to stay healthy. I've dealt with depression and my counselor always told me that exercise helps. Start off small but keep moving and please seek help…

Skinny cow has some delicious desserts also. Maybe you could try those.

I usually workout to make an extra caloric allowance for sweets since I have the worst sweet tooth ever. Sometimes I'll have a small ice cream cone, a few animal crackers or a rice crispy treat. They are all lower in calories and I get my fix. If I keep the moderately good sweets on hand, I won't be inclined to pig out too…

I agree with Dex37. I get bad headaches when I'm dehydrated and drinking more water helps me.

I work out at 5:00 am and have heard it all....singing, talking on the phone, people having loud conversations, etc. and they are all very distracting. Since I usually bring my own distractions like headphones, kindle, etc., trying to filter out additional noise is troublesome for me. So I say NO to singing even if it's…

Great job. You look wonderful.

Unfortunately you can't pick and choose where you'll lose the weight. I wish we could but we can't. Just keep eating right and and make your priority getting fit and healthy. After getting to your goal weight, you could buy clothes to complement your "assets".

You can do it. Just add some friends that have the same motivation and passion that you have to help you along and everything will work out for you. You can add me if you'd like. Your journey will be successful because joining MFP is half the battle.

Holy abs Batman! VERY NAUGHTY!

1. Use a smaller plate to limit how much you can put on it 2. Fill up on salad or veggies if they have them 3. Drink plenty of water beforehand 4. Log before you get there 5. Remember how hard it is to burn those calories Just my opinion anyway. Good luck

I can't do low carb because I wouldn't be able to sustain it long term so I count calories and eat anything I want as long as I am accountable for it, exercise and drink more water. Keep it simple as long as it's doable for you in the long run.

I used to check once a month but just started weighing in once a week. Hopefully that will keep me on track.

Great legs and wow over 44k posts is fantastic.

I'm 5'9", 205 lbs and wear a size 11 shoe. I wear a size 18 and have a goal weight of 145 lbs. My lowest adult weight was 160, I wore a size 12 (almost 10) and I felt fantastic and could have probably lost about 10 more pounds comfortably. Congrats on all who have lost and good luck on your future weight loss.

Does everyone think he's hot?

My opinion is that you can allow yourself a cheat day but be aware that it will substantially increase the time it will take you to lose the weight if you do it often and will defeat the purpose. Logging everything so that you are aware of how much you ate (even if you go over) may motivate you to exercise to help meet…

Here are some ideas: Croc Pot Betty Crocker one pot/pan recipes (google them) Bisquick recipes (google them) When all else fails.....sandwiches with a side of veggies and/or fruit. I feel your pain because I'm studying for my engineering board exam which is going to be brutal and I try to do it all by myself but realized I…

I count everything and that consistency keeps me honest.

I don't think surgery would be a good option for me but nice frilly bras sound like a terrific solution.

MFP is becoming my obsession. I have 50 pounds to lose and would love some friends.

You guys are hilarious. I'm prepared for the change if and when it happens being mindful that I'll just keep buying good bras to carry my load and if the hubby gives me a hard time about them, I'll remind him that gravity affects men too.

I had that same kind of day a couple of days ago and wanted to eat EVERYTHING!! LOL Seriously I couldn't eat enough food plus I craved sweets. To combat that craving I'm munching on fruit, greek yogurt and just bought beef jerky to keep at my desk at work (which is when the cravings are the worst).

You can add me. We can support each other.
