I would like to give up alcohol. It's hard around this time of year since there are so many holiday parties and other events, but those are just empty calories! Also if I've had something to drink I'm more likely to overeat. I need to turn down the wine, mulled cider and eggnog!!!

This might sound dorky, but I'm a middle aged mommy now and I came of age during the heyday of the raver. So techno really gets me going cuz I close my eyes and imagine I'm on the dance floor with the strobe light washing over me. Instant energy.

This happened to me. I took most of this week off from the gym (which is killing me since I keep thinking of all the progress I've made with my cardio) but plan to go back tomorrow. I've been pretty active all week though.

LMAO! I too am a nighttime snacker and I blamed this for why I wasn't losing any weight. Really, it was because I would eat my allotted calories during then day and THEN ON TOP OF THAT eat 3787432581 additional calories with all the snacking. Now I just eat less during the day and save a good chunk of my calorie allowance…

Yes, I feel like I might be eating too much if I eat back all the calories burnt. I breastfeed so that's roughly -500 kcal/day and if I get to go to the gym I can burn another 400-600 on the elliptical. But I NEVER eat all those calories back, it's just too much.
