BINGO!!!! Google Mckmama and fraud files to learn more about Xyngular.

Me too. My level was an 8 at the last check. I'm on my 2nd round of prescription strength Vit D--50,000 IU's a day. It's becoming more common, because doctors are more aware of it now--and are testing more for it. I am curious why your doctor didn't prescribe Vit D for you? Mine said the OTC stuff won't help until my…

I had the exact same experience. My fasting #'s were over 1000, and I was immediately put on two types of insulin. My son is 9, and I was JUST diagnosed with Type 2 six weeks ago. I weighed the same as when I delivered (175), but I wasn't careful to maintain the diet I had learned. I'm now working on losing weight, and…

I've been at it just over 4 week. The first two weeks I lost around 7 pounds total, and I think I'll hit the 10 pound mark tomorrow. It's definitely slower than in the beginning, but I'm ok with that. I'm trying to stay under 30 net carbs a day, but I'm planning on increasing to 50 net daily soon. Feel free to friend me!

You look great, I can definitely tell in your face. :-) That beer looks amazing as well, haha

Nova--Bristow here!
-
I just downloaded it, and searching by low carb only brings up 6 recipes? Am I missing a scroll feature, haha? ETA: I'm an idiot. There is a scroll feature.

i weigh every single morning, but I'm only logging/recording once a week. Gain, Lose, maintain--I record once a week. Mentally, I NEED to see the scale everyday, but I like the weekly trend of recording once a week.

Thank you! :-) I'll try it tomorrow. I have my macros set at 65% protein, 30% fat, and 5% carb--plus watching cholesterol, so I was hoping it might be a success.
-
Because my doc has me watching cholesterol, and I'm already eating two whole eggs a day.
-
I tried to read through ALL of these pages searching for my answer, but ultimately gave up. Just made the original one today, and it was amazing. Question: Has anyone tried these with only the egg white?

Sending you a request. I'm 5'5", and currently 162 with a goal of 140ish. I'm at 1200 a day, but I've quickly learned I need to exercise more so I can eat more.
-
Try to make your snacks higher in protein, I truly think it'll help with your headaches. :-) Also, change your settings to track Sodium. I think you'd be shocked at the amount of sodium you are consuming.
-
Calories eaten minus calories burned If you eat 1200 calories, and burn 300 calories through exercise--you've only netted 900 for the day. :-)
-
You've lost 13 pounds. Weight fluctuates, DAILY. Don't let mom know exactly what you weigh. You are doing great! :-)

Going into this journey, I thought alcohol would be hard to cut back on. It has been way easier than I imagined. If I don't have any calories for a glass of wine, I don't have it. I'm sure my liver thanks me as well. ;-)

Chocolate covered pretzels. I won't even buy them. I do plan on making a smaller portion this Christmas.
-
My downfall was WAY overeating, eating out, and gorging at night from boredom. I would eat huge portions while out to eat because it tasted GOOD. Literally to the point of my stomach feeling like it would explode. At night, I'd eat just to eat. Makes me sick now.

I take it for 10 days each time I'm exposed to Peanuts. I do always gain weight, but I start around 80 mg's and work down to 10 mg's over the course of the 10-14 days. Someone mentioned Zantac---my allergist also has me take Zantac after an accidental exposure to peanuts. Apparently it has anti-allergy properties as well.…

Dexter, #1 favorite. Criminal Minds is on Tivo, have only watched one episode this season. X Factor House, on Tivo. Meh so far.
-
Try it, and trust it for 4 weeks. You will see results. :-) It won't be fast, but it'll be lasting results if done right.
-
I scrolled back to October 10, and you only had today tracked in your diary. Today is starvation mode. Are you REALLY tracking??
-
You open your diary under 'settings'. You won't see results 'fast' after the initial quick loss....look at it this way. You've netted a 4 pound loss in 2 weeks, which averages out to 2lb a week---which coincidentally, is the highest loss per week MFP recommends. I'd call that GREAT. I've lost 6 in almost 4 weeks and I'm…
-
Do you own a food scale? Are you weighing anything not liquid, or just guesstimating?
-
Why aren't you eating after 3pm? Would you mind opening your diary?
-
For ME it is, but it really depends on the person. IMHO, WW isn't much different, except you have 'points' instead of 'calories'. I found it harder to calculate points.
-
I did. For ME, I was actually eating more calories, and gaining. I think I overdid it on fruits and veggies. Sounds impossible, but 3000 calories of apples is still 3000 calories. I joined here in July, tracked my WW, and realized I was WAY overeating in calories. Cancelled WW, then got serious here about 6 weeks later.…

Hi! I'm 34, mother of 2 (ages 14 and 7), and a SAHM. You can friend me. :-)
-
First off, you are absolutely adorable!! You look amazing, great job.
-
Sounds to me like joining WW will only lower your bank account, if you can't find a way to make changes with the current situation.
