Fitbit re: sedentary
I've seen a few posters mention that they need to hit X number of steps on Fitbit to reach 'Sedentary'. I'm sure this is a pretty easy answer...but how would I find my own sedentary threshold?

Sedentary or Lightly Active?
I'm a stay at home mom with kids in school all day. I aim for 3-4 workouts a week, and do all of the cleaning/cooking/shopping. I should have it set to lightly active, correct? I wear a HRM and eat some of my calories burned, not always all.

3 weeks in, and I'm looking for LC friends!
Hello! I'll hit 3 weeks on Thursday, and as of now I'm down 8 pounds. Looking for low-carb friends, who would be willing to offer tips and suggestions with my diary! I ordered MRM protein powder off Amazon, and am planning on using it with organic Coconut oil and Almond milk in the mornings. I have always struggled to eat…

Question about Keto strips
I test 2-3 times a day. I am consistently Trace-Light in the mornings, a little darker in the afternoons, and at the higher end in the evenings. On days I only test twice, I'm still light in mornings and much darker in evenings. Is this normal, for it to fluctuate through the day? My mornings are full of tons of coffee and…

Building a recipe, question
I'm making Black Beans and Rice. I have a Ham Hock in while it simmers, and will remove it before serving. When I add all ingredients in the database, the ham hock adds X number of calories. How would I accurately measure how many calories after I remove the ham hock? Or should I just build the recipe as if we are eating…

SO's and your particular journey.
Interesting thought popped into my head tonight.--I am eating much healthier and exercising. As a result, I'm bringing in much healthier options, cooking lighter, portioning out servings, eating out less, and asking for a partner (kids, husband) when going on walks. Have any of your SO's lost weight just because YOU have…

Question regarding pasta label
I searched, and determined that the NI on the box of pasta is for uncooked. Question: If I'm cooking for a family of 4, how would I measure out an appropriate serving of COOKED? I really do not want to weigh out mine, and cook it separately. Are there any conversion charts for uncooked vs cooked in terms of weight?

Hello, new here!
After gaining 18 pounds in ten months (It's a GOOD thing. I quit smoking!), I'm ready to make changes and take it off, plus some. :-) My initial goal is the 18 pounds, and then I'd love to go on for another 10-15. I've been stalking the success stories since Monday, and only felt it right to introduce myself.
