I love your story and a lot of what you wrote really hit home with me. I want to be that kind of mom, too! Congrats on all you have achieved! You look amazing!

I like dessert  I'm just going to use regular peanut butter, but out of curiosity, what is Better 'n Peanut Butter?
-
I want to make these again! I'm in the mood for some spicy mayo!

I might be the minority, but I wasn't crazy about this. I did the "better method" and it all came together really quickly. Such an easy recipe! My house also smelled amazing, but I thought it tasted a bit bland. I served it over whole wheat spagettini, but I had to add some cayenne pepper to mine to make it taste better.…

If I was sick, I would log off of MFP and curl up in bed. Worry about your food diary tomorrow. This one day won't make a difference in the grand scheme of things.

I do three Zumba classes per week, and some strength training. Down 52 pounds, at my goal weight, and I'm 8 pounds lighter than I was before I got pregnant.

I'm with you. Lets roll this turd and pretend it never happened.

Love this!

I just think it's interesting that nobody asked her what her diet breakdown looked like, or what kind of training she did to get back in shape. She received a lot of comments saying it is because she's young or has good genetics and I think that takes away from the fact that she worked hard before, during, and after her…

If I saw you at the beach, I would think you looked good in your bikini. Wear it!

This is such a good thread!

Chocolate and pizza. I eat either one whenever I want to and it hasn't held me back.

Yes, we should all be supportive and not make people feel like crap. OP deserves this courtesy as well.

OP you look amazing! Super incredible amazing! Reading the first page of comments was a little surprising. I was expecting to read "Holy crap you look phenomenal!" but instead I saw people who just assume you're "lucky." Kind of discredits all the hard work that you've obviously put into your body. Anyways, I digress.…

It's already been said, but it's worth repeating: your body needs more food.
-
It's tough because there is so much conflicting advice, and at first I didn't have the confidence to say "this is what we're doing, bite me!" I think I'm getting there, though!

This exactly!

My husband is looking forward to this one! I'm planning on the "better" method, but we'll see...

I only drink water or tea so all of my calories can be allotted to food. Other than that, I eat whatever I want and "work it in or work it off".
-
I hope I can be that cool when I'm old and grey.

I kind of feel a bit *meh* about making this one. I do love pickes, though. Plus I've never tried deep fried pickles ... sounds yummy to me! I generally only like to get my oven going if I'm going to get a meal out of it, I'm a bit hesitant to put in the work just to get a plate of pickles, but we'll see. I'll half the…

I just made this, I'm eating it right now. Seriously yummy!

Stand your ground and be firm about you and your husband's wishes. Easier said than done, but it's YOUR delivery, YOUR baby, YOUR rules. If they don't like it, too bad. Don't feel guilty, either!

We have a waterproof mattress cover so I took a chance with just that. I figured if my water broke that we could just rip off the sheets, throw them in the wash, and be on our way. I ended up being induced and having my water broken in the hospital. Holy floodgates, Batman! I like the crib mattress protector idea. I've…

This made me giggle... As did the original post. Thanks for the laugh, OP :flowerforyou:

Hope it works and that you feel better!

I did after my son was born! Wore it for about three weeks, just during the day. It wasn't all that comfortable and sometimes it would shift or ride up, but i would just rip it off and re-wrap. My stomach flattened really quickly after delivery (vaginal), that's why I stopped wearing it. Was it due to the wrap? I have no…

^ I would stop buying air fresheners! I would get so grumpy sitting in a thick cloud of "Mountain Mist" or whatever scent it is. But you should totally hide a can in your desk in case the neighbor's poop smell makes it's way over!

I was going to say this! Antibiotics can be brutal on your digestive system. Probiotics for the win!

Get your exercise in while she is sleeping - you deserve to have a break during that time! Also, put her in the stroller and start walking - she will get used to it eventually. And if all else fails, have someone else watch her while you work out (husband?). It will be good for her to have play time with someone other than…
