Me and my razor had a good relationship until 41weeks. I can't handle having a bush and it just felt right being totally landscaped for the whole stitches/healing process. I give credit to prenatal yoga for being able to take care of it! Next baby I think I'll go the waxing route. Can't hurt more than giving birth, right?

I made this tonight for my husband and he LOVED it! I made it into 6 patties because he has a man appetite. He said it was the best meal he has had in a while, and it's on his Top Ten list of things people have cooked for him. I'll be making this again for sure!

Made sugar cookies with icing yesterday. Sweet sugary goodness!

I'm just here for the recipes! Yumm!

You could start by having him take his naps in the crib so he gets comfortable sleeping it. Soon enough he will know the crib belongs to him and he'll figure out its boundaries.

Max went through the 4 month wakeful period. It lasted about 2-3 weeks and he typically woke up 2x per night (and stayed up for about an hour). After it was finished, he slept through the night until about 6 months. He started sleeping crappy again when we introduced solids (and he got some teeth). It will pass! Like you…

As a FTM, sometimes I feel like I should be reading books and learning about the "right way" to do things. But I think I've realized that there is no "right way." And as soon as I stopped Googling sleep issues, my little guy went right back to sleeping like a champ

Cashews are awesome!

Try logging all of your food for a week - make sure you are eating enough calories and getting lots of protein and fiber! Once you have some baseline data, it's easy to see where you can make improvements. Good luck :)

I don't really have any advice for you, just wanted to pop in and give you virtual (hugs)! You have lots of nice healthy food in your diary, and the little guy is getting lots of good healthy milk - that's the important thing :) It will happen, mama!

I am in love with fish tacos!

I'm not a red meat fan but my husband is, and he wants me to make this. It's on the menu for later this week!

I took a bag of homemade lactation cookies. Yum!

Loved these! I made them exactly as directed - minus the cilantro because I don't like it. The burgers looked exactly like the pictures on the Skinnytaste site, I like when recipes actually end up looking like the pictures  One burger filled me up! I loved the avocado. The mayo was spicy! I also whizzed the chipotle…

See if your store will let you take the display seat out to your car to test it out. I have a Honda CRV and I have a lot of space, but I wanted to put the seat in my car and strap Max into it to see how it was (especially if I'm going to be spending a boatload of money!). We ended up with the Peg Perego convertible. Max…

I could only find 19oz cans, too! Making them tomorrow and looking forward to them!

Good pick! I'm looking forward to these because I have half a can of chilies in adobe sauce in the fridge and I was wondering what the heck I was going to do with it.

Yeah yeah, so eating 24 almonds won't magically melt the fat off your body. That doesn't mean that isn't an awesome list of wonderful healthy food. I could use more of that list in my everyday eating.

So much yum!

I'd rather eat two tablespoons of peanut butter.

I ended up making these and they were good! Didn't last a week, though!

People should read this! Thanks for taking the time to put it together :flowerforyou:

Anytime I see the word "cleanse" I know it has the potential to spin into a crazy entertaining disaster. Also: mmmm bacon.

Wow! Totally inspirational!

Good to hear, I hope it was just a one time thing, too!

Wow, jeez. I said I understand that some women have legit medical stuff going on.
-
I just wore a really good sports bra. Comfy comfy comfy! Put that sucker on under everything :) I didn't want to buy bras that I would only ever wear during pregnancy.

For you women who have terrible periods that cause you agonizing pain, leaving you near bedridden - do you take a week off of work every month? Are you able to drive your kids to school or pick up groceries? I guess I just have a normal period (and I'l probably get flamed for even posting this), but I find it hard to…

It happens! Can be from a few things: irritated ducts, breast trauma, or tissue changes (like PP said). Do you have any strange lumps? Chances are the blood wont be there for very long but your doctor will give you some peace of mind, and it's worthwhile to get checked out. Side note: I had a biopsy done a little while ago…

Max was really interested in food just before he turned 5 months. If someone gave him a bottle he also wanted to hold it and sit up. My MIL kept saying he was ready for solids or a bottle of rice but I still waited until 6 months (partly because I don't like her telling me what to do, haha). When he did start eating solids…
