You don't need to burn 600+ calories to lose weight and burn fat. 200 calories burned is plenty for the fat burning process. By her creating a 10-20% deficit under her TDEE (even if she didn't exercise), she is still set for weight loss.

If your TDEE is 2580 and you subtract 20% that equals a deficit of 516 calories. You should be eating 2064 calories.

If you have handfulls of belly fat, that means what you are losing is lean muscle mass, not fat. This is a perfect example of what undereating does.

I would check on your Lean body mass to make sure it isn't low... Figuring out your correct macros may help. 1 gram of protein per pound of lean body mass, .45 grams of fat per pound of lean body mass, carbs will fill in the rest.

Sometimes what I eat puts me over my goal for the day. And I am ok with that! :) Right now, 147-153 lbs. BUT, I want to stop when I feel GREAT and LOOK great in my clothes (and naked too!) I could gain 5 lbs of muscle, weighing 161 lbs but fitting into a size 6! THAT'S what I want ! Fat burn!! :wink:

Society isn't telling me to get bigger boobs. The mirror and my naked body is telling me to have my boobs reconstructed. You try losing weight and gaining it back for a total of 8 years and tell me how your boobs look. Not too pretty, amirite?

I spend about 15.00-20.00 a week on fruits and veggies. My biggest debt is my protein. I spend anywhere from 35-50.00 a week on chicken, fish, ground turkey, ground chicken patties, cottage cheese, greek yogurt. :laugh:

The whole "you should stop eating after a certain time" is a big myth. It does nothing to your metabolism. I eat from the time I get up until the time I go to bed. I have lost 51 lbs (and not following MFP guidelines either)

This is a lifestyle. There are no cheats. If I want something, I calorie budget and fit it in to meet my macros. I can eat up to my TDEE without gaining fat.
