  • I am 30 also and log in daily. Feel free to add me everyone!
  • Thank you all so much!
  • This may be an unpopular opinion, but if I go out to dinner one day out of a week or two, I order what I want. Once a week I think its ok to have anything u want. I tend to like healthier things now anyway.. but i get fries if I want, or even Alfredo! .
  • I guess everyone makes their own "rules" for this. Here are mine- I say nay to food prep. I also don't log cleaning unless it's like an hour or more and I am really moving. Like last weekend, I was really short on time and had to choose either a) work out and have a messy house and go to work monday feeling stressed, or b)…
  • I am usuing the inmotion Fiona's sports bra. It really works, and I am dd.
  • If you need a naughtier fix.. go for baked cheetos, they rock!
  • I'm doing it only once or twice a week because I am mixing in other things (other Jillian DVDs, pilates, zumba, and kickboxing) but I definitely think it is helpful. It is a hard workout and feels very effective!
  • Add me, too! Friends help. I also found that I needed to give myself a bribe to actually get into exercising (before it became motivating in itself). I actually paid myself $5 every time I worked out for at least 25 mins. I didn't let myself buy anything that wasn't necessary unless it came from the exercise fund I was…
  • I have gotten some treats along the way every time I hit a new 5 or 10 lb milestone.. I got a Vera Bradley bag... and a membership to Hand and Stone (one massage a month). I don't have anything planned for my final goal- actually, as I get in shape, I think that once I hit 150 I can definitely go lower, or at least get…
  • This is what changed my life.. I paid myself to workout, 5 bucks each time.. seems steep, but anything nonessential had to be bought using that money. Right down to nail polish.. decorations.. new clothes. It worked and now exercise is a natural habit in my life. .
  • 1 looked at a pic taken this weekend and was NOT disgusted! 2. Exercise has become.a true habit- if I don't do it, it feels WEIRD 3. Having a great birthday week, the big 30! 4. My pets 5. My hubby
  • I am 5'4" and my lowest ever has been 142.. I have to say any less than that (for me anyway) might make me look really weird unless I end up getting super fit
  • you really won't be able to know the calorie loss unless you get a heart rate monitor and track it yourself. I would really recommend this.. I do zumba at home on XBox and when I see that in 25 minutes I burned 300 calories, it is super motivating. Heart rate monitors are great!
  • You might also want to change it to lose less than 2 lbs a week.
  • I will join! Great idea. CW- 173, 5'4" tall Christmas I would like to be down to 165. However I have not been losing 1lb a week as I had hoped, so this could really be a stretch to lose 8lbs. But that's okay! As long as I get down to 168 by then, I will be happy. Thanks for starting the challenge.
  • I don't know a lot about the science of exercise, what burns the most fat, etc. however I can tell you what is working for me. I am absolutely in LOVE with the kinect for xbox 360. Now if you don't already have the xbox, this is of course an expensive proposal. I love doing the zumba game the most.. I am having a blast and…
  • How do you make the diary viewable?
  • I like the idea of a Christmas getaway for you. If you have a good relationship with the in-laws, perhaps you can just tell them that you are so happy about their growing families, but this is a hard time for you and you need to "get away" at the holidays so that you don't have to endure too much pain (and thus allowing…
  • Definitely peanut butter... or some peanuts or almonds... I also do one cheat meal/day once per week. I find that it helps with weight loss actually because it keeps my body guessing. You could always have a cheat meal if you didn't feel "bad" for going OVER your calories one day (I don't). This is the one day a week where…
  • Thanks for the help all!
  • I am working with "the new Abs diet" book. They have a very simple and healthy plan in there about what you should eat and exercises to do.

  • That's great- thank you :)
  • Well, I wouldn't say I have a ton of excess money to pay myself. But I actually save money paying myself $30-$40 bucks a week. I just write it down in a notebook, how much money I have to "play" with. So I might not spend it every week, but it only takes one shopping trip to spend it all when you figure how much clothes…
  • I'm with you! I lost a bunch of weight for my wedding only to gain it all (and then some) back! As for suggestions.. I have a few things that have helped me. First I found other foods I like that aren't unhealthy, that are also quick to prepare. I have the advantage of being a Pampered Chef consultant so I have a lot of…
  • I have to agree, I love Kinect for exercise! I want to try the Zumba game, but saw it had some negative reviews on Amazon. Would you all recommend I pick it up? Thanks!
  • Hi there! I am new also and really enjoying using this app on my android phone. Doing it online seems even easier. Add me as a friend.. the more the merrier :)
