So Friday night was ALCE Brazillian BBQ for a friend’s birthday. Estimated 7500 cals. Saturday morning was farkin turbo training session at PTC. KILLED it! and finally got that 100 BB curls Saturday night we were at the Gold Coast for Kee’s cousins 30th. ANother ALCE buffet at the casino. ANother estimated 7000 cals or so.…

why all of that an no bun? Don't you burn your hands plus get all dirty? I like a good burrito for take away, easy enough to fit in macros. Alternatively, basically all take away places have a grilled chicken burger/wrap option. These are typically fairly low cal.

Nothing much happening. Lately, (as I've done in the past around this time of year) I've switched to some more ckd dieting as there is always stuff on socially on the weekend. Not optimal for strength gains but then again neither is having a broken shoulder :-P On that front, or does seem to have improved ever so slightly.…

program actually looks ok to me (with the limited knowledge about the OP). I'd suggest for 5 exercises if going close to failure on these sets, that you should reduce to 3 sets instead of 5. Also, 1 set if you are doing full deadlifts not RDL's. (too taxing to do frequenty, pending strength levels)

I take a resistance band. Do unilateral stuff as it's easier to make the exercise more challenging without a great deal of equipment/weight.

^^^ I don't do wedges and I have no idea what ruby red is but they taste like a normal potato to me when I make them as baked chips. Also, can't remember if I said or not but the fountain no sugar added sauces now include chilli and sweet chilli (5 cals per serve)

whatever really. Sorry that's not specific but it doesn't really matter to me. Most of my meals have some protein, carbs and fats. If I was being super picky, it would be a lower fat option for quicker digestion.

You can build muscle in a deficit but it is short term basically. 3 options: A noob to weight lifting B muscle memory C drugs It isn't going to much though basically. In a deficit, you lift to retain what muscle mass you have essentially.

I did my full body building prep while still drinking occasionally. The day before was the best. Had to cut water weight. No food, just scotch. I wish I was a lightweight but no matter how infrequently I drink, I still need a fair bit to get a buzz. Maybe it's an Aussie thing :stuck_out_tongue: I now just have a glass or 2…
