Keep on going

I'm doing a second round - I start on 11/4 so I will be a day behind.

My condolences on your loss....two of my boys in my profile pic are gone now. Your plan is a solid one. Set a date and then don't worry - pick the mantle back up then.

Great job! B)

I'm under my calories - but WAY over sodium. :(

I hate change.

Do I love my body? Sure, it's what is keeping me alive. Am I happy with it? Heck, no. For far too long it has been calling the shots - yes, have another pint of Ice Cream; yes, have another cheeseburger. But now I'M in control....but I still see it. I still see the big butt, the large stomach, the slight double chin. Other…

I donated on Monday. I've lost count how many pints I have given (and been turned away - stupid iron level!) I was in the military so I don't have a single organization to look for records. I've donated in Iowa, North Dakota, Alabama, Colorado and California. I didn't worry about by food diary that day. Called a cheat day…

I think this is outstanding! Wish I could run 5mph. It takes 45 minutes for me to run 3.1 miles (5K).

This whole "MFP is full of a bunch of meanies" has so run its course. This dead horse is so beaten you don't need a juicer...

I just want to say how much I am enjoying Chris Hemsworth's butt on "Thor" this afternoon.

The whole family - my motivation.

Ran for the first time in two months and kept up with some Air Force "kids" for 3 laps around the track.

Casual Friday means jeans but we had a visiting delegation which meant dressy jeans - the ones in the drawer are getting baggy, so on a whim I pulled out the black jean pair from the bag of Goodwill clothese that I have been meaning to deliver just to see if they still were too tight - nope, perfect fit! Much better than…

Way to go FF!

After 3 months of seriously focusing on exercise, I can finally grab my ankle versus my heel while doing a standing quad stretch.

I follow my Mom's creed: "All Politicians are Crooks! Don't trust any of them." Of course, she said that about bankers too (Farmer from Iowa in the 80's"

And yet, wikipedia says Wilson is listed in the top 10....poor wikipedia. Besides, at the end of Wilson's Presidency, he had a stroke and (if I remember my history class correctly) his wife basically took over. Blame it on her. //sarc

Well, he started off well loved by the world - I mean, come on, he got the freakin' Peace Prize just for being elected! U.S. elected him, why didn't we get the prize? 53 is not a worthy b-day for a card. After 50, you have to wait until 60...then 65 (or whenever retirement age is - 70?). 42 and 43 were significant in my…

GO PACK GO!!

Great job! Thanks for telling your story.

I have lived with this stupid little pill since 1996. Only one in my family. Stupid thyroid - it thinks it's retired - and it's trying to convince my willpower to join it. Stupid chocolate.

Any time I get frustrated with the lack of movement (or bad movement) on the scale, I go and look at the SUCCESS folder. I see some who lose it fast and then I see those who have lost it slow. Just keep moving and don't compare yourself to your husband. :flowerforyou:

Good job! (Personally I'm waiting to be stable for a month before I celebrate myself)

I think you have your answer...

Don't know if you have cable, but I know Comcast has exercise programs on their On Demand system.
-
You can if you want, but I try not to. 1) You might be overestimating calories lost. 2) You might be underestimating calories in.

I get up at 4, workout at 5:30 and in my office chair at 7:30. But I go to bed by 9-10pm. I only get sleepy in the afternoon, which I get even if I don't workout at 5:30.

I get the wanting to be there already - and I just got started! Did you double check your calorie settings? Sometimes when we lose weight or change work level, then you might need more calories. Eating more calories can actually help bust the plateau.
