On the left, taken in April 2011 at 182, on the right, taken today at 132 - Wow, what a difference five years can make.

Exactly this. Ohmygoodness what a heart-wrenching episode :*(

I'm laughing that this was originally posted in 2013 and it's still being talked about. Having said that....Meow and thank you ;)

:Nods head in agreement: - I usually take a walk for about 30-40 min mid day, and a bike ride for that same length of time around 5:30 PM

Yes Ma'am, and I can absolutely relate! I find myself grazing throughout the day, even if I'm not that hungry :(
-
I'm 5'5, currently 146, and eating an average of 1300 a day (sometimes I go a bit over on the weekends, so Monday and Tuesday are lower to account for that - so the 1300 is the weekly average) - trying to get back down to 126 which where I was in June of last year and what feels comfortable to me.

I have a weekly average, which evens out to 1200-1300 a day (weekends are intentionally higher, so Monday and Tuesday are lower to account for that). 5'5

My heart is just hurting reading through all these comments, and how unbelievable cruel some people can be :( Growing up my mom weighed the same as she did upon graduating high school (super skinny, and always on the move), so she'd make "helpful" comments occasionally calling me "pleasantly plump". Shortly after I got…

I came to the forums to ask the very same thing the other day :) - Under the "search" feature if you put in your question, you can find some great ideas from other MFP members that were wondering the same thing - it seems to be asked often! Lol

Haven't gotten any yet, but I'm thinking about getting one on my honeymoon next May of a birdcage with the door open, and a bird taking flight from that, with the phrase "To have faith is to have wings" underneath it - placed on my foot.

I live about 30 mil from Charleston, SC and love it :) SO much to see and do: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/11/23/charleston-south-carolina_n_4305335.html

Actually yes - met my beloved on POF (although he tells everyone it was www.hotredheads.com, Lol)

IMO, No - nice smile in fact. :)

Along with the majority, I totally eat them! :)

Coffee (black) with one cup of oatmeal (I know there are healthier brands out there, but I love Quaker's Apples & Cranberries, made with half skim milk, half water) One poached egg sprinkled with salt and pepper, with a piece of lightly buttered toast (occasionally I'll add a sliced tomato and a dollop of mayo for a quick…

You can definitely see the difference, well done, and keep up the great work! :)

Hands down, my newest favorite (I've only been a few times so far) is Sky Robics, an intense fitness class held at Sky Zone, an indoor trampoline park - so much fun!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R8HTbbNTJqA

I'm probably in the minority, but I love a clean shaven man, meow. No doubt my preference has something to do with the fact that my father was an officer in the US Army during my formative years, so having shorter hair and no facial hair is what I personally find appealing. :)

I LOVE mine and use it daily! Both the kids and I really like a "Popeye" smoothie in the morning made with raw spinach, banana, pineapple (or mango), a bit of non fat plain (or vanilla) yogurt, ice, and enough water to the fill line - easy peasy, and yum :) Here's a link you might find helpful as well:…

Sounds like "Forever" - a show set to start on September 23rd (ABC network), although this time he's a medical examiner trying to solve how the person laying on the table before him died.
-
YES to both of those, I agree - as well as Third Watch, and Better Off Ted. I also really liked "Rome" on HBO, and The Gates.

Awesome job!! :)

Same here - I grew up watching Mork & Mindy, was a teen who loved him in Dead Poet's Society, and as an adult I always enjoyed watching him in anything that he did (especially improv - what an amazing talent). Depression can be an overwhelming, horrible way to live, and my heart is so saddened that he was unable to find…

I also wanted to suggest finding a "Divorce Care" group in your area specifically for those going through the separation process (that may or may not end in divorce, two of the men in my group ended up reconciling with their wives, but still received amazing support throughout the journey). I got involved a month after we…

Please read my profile, and send a friend request afterwards if you'd like. I completely understand the range of emotions that you're experiencing right now, and I'd love to be a source of support for you if you're open to that. Well done on going for a hike rather than turning to food for comfort - I totally get that too,…

Awesome progress so far!! :)

Ditto that, along with a bit of diced apple and cranberries mixed in
-
I use Fage, but only in my daily smoothie, to get a little extra protein

Our wedding date is set for May 2015, but I'm hoping to get down to my goal weight by November, so I can cross buying the dress off my list by the end of the year. From June 2011 to June 2013, I was able to lose almost 60 pounds, and kept it off until this past winter, when ever so slowly I choose bonding over food with my…

I've used ground turkey for about 15 yrs now, and use it in any recipe that calls for ground beef.
