My friend used the note approach, it worked for her. Also, even if it was someone at work, go for it. Work you can find anywhere if you try hard enough, but not giving these things a go is an ingredient for regret, live without regret!

Lol, "obedient"? That's an interesting choice of words!

More or less. Your body will adapt to the stressor you put it through. There are different types of muscle fibers that are able to produce energy either with or without oxygen, the lighter weights will work those oxidative fibers and this will increase the amount of resting contraction in those muscle, or in other words,…

May be worth talking it over with a Physio, but find one with experience with runners. They may have some added insight, as well as being able to check your running technique.

Why not, extra motivation :)

There are different types of exercise you can do. If you use a lighter weight and high reps you won't put on as much size. But putting on muscle requires a lot of effort. Arnold said it best, when people are learning how to play golf, they never say "I want to be good, but not as good as Tiger Woods", but when they work…

I have tried running numerous times....turns out that I just don't like it! I want to like it, but I don't. My shins and ankles dont hold up well, even when I was lighter. But I love swimming, so I started training and I now do ocean swims. They are a lot of fun and it makes for a really good day. Enjoy your lifestyle and…

Started 102kg, I want to hit 75-78. I am giving myself 12 months to do it at .5kgs a week, though I am eating and training stricter than that.

Grad student here, noodles and eggs kept me going for a long time! But I work on about $12 a day now. I could prob get it lower, but it is a compromise between health and convenience. But $50 a month, that would be a stretch for me!

Lol, I freely admit I am epically shallow. I want to look good in photographs, and a washboard stomach would be nice. It has been a long time since an ab saw the ligh of day! The health benefits are also motivating for me, but to be honest, I just want to look good :)

I agree, a lot of work needed! I don't think anything will beat hard work and diet. The same hopes were raised when Leptin research first yielded results. But the amount of money being thrown at obesity research is phenomenal, they will eventually come up with a solution, but unless there is a physiological basis for an…

All the way from Australia and enjoying the hot weather atm! Heritage goes way back to the first settlers, prior to that most likely Irish, English and who knows, perhaps a dash of Norse. Descended directly from convicts, and as an Aussie, I'm proud of that ;)
