I don’t feel redundant, I feel at the height of my game. I’m a Licensed Acupuncturist and always learning. I went to the gym tonight and did 60 minutes on the elliptical. Felt good and just getting there was enough tonight. Thanks for the support.

Indeed. I have had two night mares which tells me that as much as my conscious mind keeps working with re-framing this, that on a subconscious level, all hell is breaking loose. In the end, it comes down to aging, being left behind or ditched. I keep working with the image of a beautiful gate opening with endless…

I am so very grateful to all of you for your input. I am also considering getting rolfed again, $120 a session. For those of you who have mentioned youtube yoga videos could you please send me a few links?

I don't mind spending more money on one. I just cannot wear anything around my wrist because I use my hands in my work (acupuncture and massage). I was wondering if the clip on fitbits are just as accurate.

Great question, I lost 22 pounds and have maybe another 10 to go, so weight loss. Overall body strengthening and abdominal work. Getting the core really strong as I am leaning over patients all day so am noticing I am bending forward more than is good for me. Getting older with hormonal changes tends to add more to the…

I think I am anxious about the idea of intimacy with someone new. It has been about 6 years since I experienced that so I know it is like riding a bike and all. Just excited and scared all at the same time. My son, whom does not live with me bought the bag and it was either that or a pint of mint chip ice cream. I just…

Dr Oz recommends 1T of coconut oil and 1t of grass fed organic butter. I make a cup of coffee and pour the coffee and coconut oil and butter with a packet of stevia in the blender. Blend for 30 seconds til frothy. It tastes good and is great for the brain.

I have also had 2 C sections, I agree with the calorie deficit idea so will continue doing that and see what comes when I hit my goal, which could be added to if I don't see the loss. Thanks for all of your responses. Core exercises will at least support the area.

369 of your calories via wine is a lot, given most of us on are 1200 calories a day. You might be missing macronutrients along the way as alcohol does not provide very much nutritionally. :flowerforyou:

Alcohol is a simple sugar, so it stimulates the release of insulin, a fat storing hormone. So, you are drinking at night and stimulating this process. When you don't eat simple sugars, glycogen is a fat burning hormone that predominates. Glycogen, then by definition is where we want to be at. Alcohol daily is hard on the…

Easy does it. My son went through two months of treatment, two months at a halfway house, two months living with me (where his diet began to improve) and he is now 8.5 months sober. I joined him and have stopped drinking since New Years. Too much family history with alcohol so gave it up. Had some cravings but those are…

I notice that your diary is not public. I went to profile settings to open to everyone, is that all I needed to do? I really want someone to look at my food. Thanks!

Thanks, any feedback is helpful, also getting off of gluten has helped as that makes me bloat I think.

I just did 6 hours of chair massage at a marketing gig. I am exhausted and wondering how many calories I burned. I want to err on the side of caution. Any ideas?

I am doing pretty well but I am needing more friends to so count me in! Deborah

Do some exercise. There are lots of reasons for a binge, often emotional in origin. So, do something physical. Drink water. Your will feel more grounded and peaceful afterward.

Please add me I could use some support. I realize I have to start logging in in the morning as it is too hard to track without mindfulness. I have not logged in for a few weeks and am struggling to get back into this. Very stressful times of late.

I was 1700 over but it was also my birthday party so I enjoyed every morsel and had a wonderful time with family and friends. I spent 3 hours kayaking today so feel balanced from the excess. Back on track today. Another party tomorrow. I love summer and will learn how to navigate all of this social activity in time using…

I have that issue and have had it for years now. It often is more emotional, a stress response. Tempting to raid someone else's fridge for sure. What is helping me are the following: 1. Drinking enough water throughout the day. It fills me up and sometimes I think I am hungry when my body is craving water. 2. If you eat…

I would say only buy healthy food. Normally that requires some cooking or preparation. Ask family members to help you in the kitchen. If you cook, they clean. Teach them food preparation. Get them engaged. Everyone needs to be involved with food. Food is to be honored and savored. Keep setting boundaries and if those…

Honor your feelings by feeling them.  :ohwell: Then begin to look around you and see that there are plenty of men out there. :blushing: Then when you are done, then declare the word "NEXT" :flowerforyou: Flowers to brighten your day!

I am eating very clean except for a few treats. Fruit, vegetables, olives, nuts, lean meats, brown rice, hummus, water, etc. So, a very nutrient dense diet which is curbing my hunger, nourishing and highly satisfying. I am also eating 3-5 times a day to keep my metabolism fueled properly. Experiment with exercise and see…

Greetings and salutations. I started this two years ago and did nothing with it. Lost 20 pounds even so, gained 12 back over a very long winter in Minnesota. So you can see one of my issues (WINTER UGG). So, my hope is to develop friendship support and accurate accounting with food and exercise. I also am well aware of the…

Eat more of these great sources of iodine to enhance thyroid function: Low fat cheese Cow’s milk Eggs Low fat ice cream Low fat yogurt Saltwater fish Seaweed (including kelp, dulce, nori) Shellfish Soy sauce 2. 160 I can maintain but 150 feels better on me. Lets see.

I love juicing with kale, carrot, cucumber, lemon and celery. I did a protein shake as I had a can of it and blended it with a cup of raspberries and some ice cubes, a nice summer treat. I think I will do it when it sounds tasty to me and when I sense I need more protein. Deborah

I weight daily when I am taking care of my body and dont weigh myself when I am spiraling downward. It is better for me to weigh daily, realizing there can be quite a fluctuation with sodium intake, combination of foods. I know that bread and pasta blow me up and when I don't eat them, I shrink. So, lots of variables here.…

She is likely jealous. Don't take her comment seriously. What she thinks of you is none of your business. That is what I tell others who cross my personal boundaries like that. I tell them to keep their comments to themselves unless they want to be fair game too. Good job with your weight loss.
