I can only do 2 miles on a treadmill or max a 5K but beyond that I would rather be outside running. Doesn't matter if it's cold arctic blast weather. That's why you have compression pants and tops for. Don't forget your hat and gloves and not to mention compression socks! I like running by myself without distraction of…

Mine is more before and during. It's my profile pic. It was Taken Jan 4, 2014, March 15, 2014 , and May 1, 2014. I concentrated first with training for 2 Half Marathons (NYC in March and the Nike DC Women's half in April) in the spring. I just restarted lifting 3X and running 2X while concentrating on training for a sprint…

I need my Magic Bullet. It has helped me with all my morning smoothies from breakfast and then some.

5'2" currently 178.6 lbs. Trying to get down first to 150 lbs then ultimately to 130-35 lbs.

I'm game. Already dropped 35, so 25 lbs will get me near my next goal

How is everyone faring during round #2? I have 1.2 to loose this round with only 3 days left to go.

This is also my first dietbet challenge I entered. I was doing something similar back in 2011 on a different site. Had similar features and did a great job on there shedding the weight. I successfully dropped 65 lbs but a medical issue made me gain most of my weight back. Imagine the horror and the helplessness I felt when…

I have a body media fit link arm band that helps me see how much calories I am burning. I plan to eat cleaner and stick to at least 1,500 calories food intake a day and burn 2,500 calories a day. With a 1,000 caloric deficit on a daily basis, I should be consistent in dropping weight until I hit a plateau. I am also…

This is a good reference for the guys.

This is a good reference for the gals on Body Fat Percentage. I got my trainer at the gym to measure my body fat % with calipers and I'm just about at 26% which is a big improvement from last year's 37%. Now just to get down to 16-18%

I'm 5', 1.25" and currently fluctuating between 145-150 lbs. I'm training for a sprint triathlon. My BMR is set at 1,400. Depending on what day it is for training, I tailor my caloric intake to compensate for the caloric burn for the day. On days I'm swimming, I know I can easily burn 400-500 for an hour of doing an hour…

Was 5'2"... after 4 kids later, I'm 5' and 1.25" :noway: Currently training for a triathlon. I need a good outlet to deal with my stress of being divorced single parent to 4 kids. I'm fluctuating between 145-149 lbs but aiming to get down to 130 lbs before I re-evaluate. It's those last 10-15 lbs that seems to love to kick…

Definitely bumping when I have more time to digest it

Jersey girl working in the city. Going for another 18 lbs then re-evaluating before going to the next level  Sent a friend request.

It's all a matter of preference. I knew I wanted to enjoy my kids when I still had the energy to go after them. My best friend in high school lost her dad during her sophomore year and then lost her mom junior year in college. Her parents married late in life and had them in their 40s. I wanted to have my kids before the…

My ultimate motivation? I look at old pictures. I remind myself why I'm doing this ---> for me (No one else BUT ME!) If you are doing this for someone else, it doesn't always work out in the end. I have a picture that I call "Jabba the Hut". It was taken a year after I had my first child a decade ago. I was at 230 lbs only…

<-- taken last month May 18th, 2012, at a friend's wedding. Wearing a size 6 dress @ 151 lbs. The last time I was around this weight was probably back in high school and back then I was wearing a size 13/14 dress! If someone told me last year I'd be wearing single digit clothing, I'd probably thought they were high on…

You can definitely do this and totally agrees that race bug is addicting!!

I can lend you a child or two? I got spares

I sent you a message with link for them. They have been my saving grace

I found a solution to this. Whenever I'm craving chocolate, I grab a simply lite Chocolate bars- choices of milk chocolate, dark chocolate and Dark chocolate with Almonds. They are low carbs, no trans fat, glutten free and no sugar added. Besides surfing the threads on MFP, trying to finish projects at work,…

Definitely snagging some of these songs and incorporating it my ipod! Thanks

Definitely outdoors! I can barely do 3 miles on a treadmill  but when I'm out run/walk/jog intervals outside I can easily do 8-9 miles with ease.

You are your worst enemy! It boils down to how much do you really want to get to your goal. Everyone has challenges. It's how you pick yourself up and continue on that makes a difference. Don't skip that workout- whether it's a class or DVD or even a walk around the block. Make better food choices. Everything adds up in…

It's never a bad idea. Just remember in moderation. I had a matching skirt and blouse I wore back in high school hanging at the back of my bedroom door. My kids ended up putting things on top of it and just found it 2 months ago. It was a size 13/14. I tried it on and just started rotfl. The outfit was too big on my frame.…

I'm a divorce single parent to 4 kids ages- 10, 7, 6 and 3. I work a full time job from 930-530. I've changed my routine so I can exercise first thing in the morning before ALL of them are up. That means up and exercising by 530am. If i miss this window, I make sure I drop them off at school early enough so I can walk to…
