  • Bald/balding with hair trimmed super short with a goatee. Lucky me, I'm married to a man who looks like a tall Bruce Willis! Oh and he has to have a wicked sense of humor where he makes up words to all kinds of songs or makes fun of things you wouldn't normally.
  • When I know we're going somewhere were it'll be hard to stay under my calories I make sure #1 I workout to burn around 1000 calories or more for the extra room and #2 choose wisely i.e. pick one thing I REALLY want that is maybe not so good like past with cream sauce and then make sure I have everything else pretty…
  • For me it did. I followed their site for sizing and the cups were too small and the band too wide. I was squished and falling out the bottom. The Shock Absorber kind gives a uniboob, but has super support without the wire. I tried wearing a wire, but it chafed my skin raw!
  • Just looking at your last few days I would say add in fruit and veggies and some lean proteins. I have no problem getting 1200 on a low carb/high protein diet. My day usually looks like this: Breakfast: eggs with cheese and/or sausage or ham Morning Snack: 1 oz nuts Lunch: Lean protein leftovers from the night before and a…
  • Instead of focusing on the fact that you did eat why not add in a workout or additional exercise to help burn off the exercise calories. That's what I try to do when those days happen. You'll feel better after too!
  • Lots of ladies like the Enell. I did not, and sent it back and got the Shock Absorber. LOVE THAT ONE, straps in these puppies REALLY well!
  • This is one of my favorites. I know it calls for bone in, but I always buy boneless chops! http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ellie-krieger/sage-rubbed-pork-chops-with-warm-apple-slaw-recipe/index.html
  • 3 scrambled eggs with 1 oz. crumbled goat cheese and 2 oz ham. Yummy!
  • My top 3 are: 4 cup Cuisinart food processor George Foreman Grill My open stock Wustof knives
  • Do you have a link to the article online? I would agree with most of the statements as I have lost my weight through a high protein low carb diet!
  • I totally agree.
  • I had a member for a year. At the time it was good for me as I had been sedentary for years. At the end of the year I didn't feel like I was getting a good enough workout so I didn't renew. I would recommend it if you have never/recently worked out. IMO if you are already doing other stuff like JM30DS or other videos I say…

  • OH MY GOSH that made me cry. What a sad but fabulous story. You are so very lucky to have such a wonderful person in your life. I know it's hard as he's gone, but focus on all the wonderful things you now have in your life because of him. He obviously made a huge impact on you. Blessings to you!
  • That guy is lucky it was you and not me he grabbed. I grew up with an older brother who used to beat the crap out of me. So now I'm very sensitive to people grabbing me and my automatic reaction is to hit them back HARD> Heh Heh, I've had something like this happen A LOT but by my family. My 90 year old Grandpa said "She's…
  • Thanks for sharing!
  • Thanks for sharing, this looks awesome!
  • I was just providing info to show most likely why her coworker feels that way! I'm not sure I buy into it. I eat them on occasion. I'd honestly rather eat 2 oranges than one banana though!
  • Here's some more info: The glycemic index (GI) is a ranking of carbohydrates on a scale from 0 to 100 according to the extent to which they raise blood sugar levels after eating. Foods with a high GI are those which are rapidly digested and absorbed and result in marked fluctuations in blood sugar levels. Low-GI foods, by…
  • Most recently it was to my brother after he commented that I am the "diet Nazi!" I said "Oh yeah, well while you're exercising that fork to your mouth and having to buy bigger clothes, I'm keep having to buy smaller and smaller clothes!" It was funny the whole holiday as his girlfriend kept patting his huge belly telling…
  • I haven't read through this whole thread so I apologize if it's already been said. The reasoning behind this (which was already said) is that they are high on the glycemic index. For anyone with diabetes or insulin resistance, this is a food they need to stay away from. IMO If you don't fit into those categories I'd say…
  • A poached egg and 1/2 T of homemade hollandaise sauce!
  • Do you have a Play it Again Sports or Second Wind Exercise in your area? I'd check out those if you do!
  • Here are two of my favorite recipes that call for Balsamic Vinegar. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ellie-krieger/balsamic-chicken-with-baby-spinach-recipe/index.html http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/herbed-chicken-parmesan-10000000549982/ Several recipe sites have a search option where you can just type in Balsamic…
  • You didn't say how long you've been married? I've been with my husband for almost 15 years. We'll be married 14 years in September. That said, I've had this sort of thing happen to us. I used to tell my family everything. THEN my mother told me not once, not twice, but SEVERAL times I should divorce him. I was so hurt by…
  • Honestly this is a very personal thing. I'm EXTREMELY limited on these because they all have Gluten in them and I cannot eat Gluten. So as far as I can tell for the $$ for me I like Muscle Milk Light. I get the powder and sometimes the pre-made. Ask at your local GNC or other store like that what their policy is about…
  • I agree with many of the folks that said add avocado, meats, nuts, etc. I looked at your diary and you are only tracking carbs. I would suggest that you add more macros in to track and go with more protein. I never have a problem keeping low carb if I eat lots of protein. I shoot for 90-120 grams per day. If you do 30…
  • A couple of items we typically add to salad: Red/yellow/orange bell peppers Peppadeux peppers (these are hot and sweet) Cherry/grape tomatoes Goat cheese crumbles (I like Montchevre basil and onion) Dressings we like are Hidden Valley Ranch Light 80 calories for a serving or Newman's Own Light Balsamic 45 calories a…
  • I run in the dark all of the time. I take my vicious 25 lb. Sheltie, my iPod and pepper spray. I stick to main roads and lighted areas.
  • Personally I can no longer eat there. Nothing they have is Gluten Free. I always get sick if I eat their food even if I have them change their gloves and use paper. That said, my favorite is Jimmy John's. They are very accommodating and change gloves and use paper for me. I've never gotten sick from their unwiches.
