  • I like a True Athelete from The Vitamin Shop. It uses Stevia instead of artificial Sweeteners.
  • Did you search his site for the answer? I would bet most likely that question has already been answered. Check it out. I'd say post your question, but first search for the answer as he is very snarky about answering something that is already there! Good luck!
  • I didn't have to cut mine off, but it took about a half hour under ice cold water to get it off and that was 9 years ago. I was at work and looked down at my hand to see I'd cut myself right around the ring and had blood all over. It was awful. DH was PISSED that I couldn't get it back on and didn't wear it anymore! I…
  • I made a stance the first year we were together as my parents live 3.5 hours away and his about an hour. I told them ALL we would alternate holidays each year. If we spent Mother's Day with mine then Father's Day that year was with his family. Same thing for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor…
  • The first thing I bought for our house 10 years ago was a FULL SIZE REFRIGERATOR!!!!! I stock up when the meat is on sale. Our market will have Perdu Boneless Skinless Chicken breasts at $2.99 a lb once in a while (regular price is $5.49). I will buy whatever is in the bin when I am there and make a point to go every…

  • Mmm, I love them too. AND THEY ARE GLUTEN FREE for those of us who have to be GF! Our CVS carries the small bags in a crap ton of varieties, not all of which I have tried. My favorite are the BBQ and the Sea Salt & Vinegar. YUMMY!
  • OMG there are LOTS. I've taken the stance that I'll try anything again since I now love the following. I do however draw the line at liver. That is some nasty stuff. I'd try squid over liver ANY DAY!!!!! Brussel Sprouts Spinach Asparagus Pork Sausage Mustard the list goes on.
  • So is anyone else getting calluses on their hands from lifting? I'm not sure how I feel about it. I'm consistently able to add more weight, so I know that is why. But I really don't like having hard calluses. Anyone have any recommendations to alleviate them?
  • That many of my high school friends have kids graduating from college and high school! Oh and that it's costs more for ONE YEAR at the college I graduated from here in Illinois Go REDBIRDS costs more than my WHOLE DEGREE!!!!! (24k)
  • Peppadew hot/sweet piquante peppers and Onion & Basil Goat cheese crumbles. My salad's aren't the same when I'm out of these two things!
  • I too am Celiac. I eat a low carb/high protein diet. Basically I eat the perimeter of the grocery store, lean meats, fruits and veggies. I eat very little dairy as due to Celiac's I am lactose intolerant (but goat cheese is ok). I really like Quest Bars (the one's with Stevia) for a nice protein snack. Another good bar is…
  • I grew up in the Quad Cities and now live in the NW burbs in Lake County. I'm actually closer to WI than Chitown!
  • I heart you! Seriously, I ask them if they need a bag when I see it and will go get one for them. When I walk my dogs I always have poop bags attached to the leash. There is just NO EXCUSE for it!
  • My votes is for the Body Glide. I use it to eliminate the chafing raw spots from my sports bra. Works WONDERS!
  • It's a toss up. I love the Chipotle Pork Burgers I get at the farmer's market, so I can't say I'd miss burgers if I went all pork.

  • In addition to those items already listed I like edamame and shrimp. Especially shrimp as it's low in calories and high in protein!
  • Frickin' A. I thought this wouldn't be a hard workout. I added 10 lb weights to the lunges last night on my first go. OMG I am so freakin' sore this morning and I feel like I'm 80! We shall see how Fridays workout goes. Anyone here have alternatives they do for dead lifts? I had back surgery and those are a total no no for…
  • Having had my older Sheltie attacked not once but twice by big dogs on a walk, I now don't leave home without my pepper spray. I make sure I'm aware of my surroundings and pay attention to my dog as he'll let me know if something is up/near. The police actually recommended the pepper spray after the second incident, saying…
  • DON'T let the muscle heads deter you from your goal!!!!! I get in there with my "Barbie Bells" and do my thing. I have a torn bicep injury that keeps me from doing super heavy weights right now. I do what I can and work my *kitten* off. If you look on-line at how the exercises are supposed to be done you'll notice that a…
  • OMG how awesome. Great job so far. Stick with it and you'll get to where you want to be before you know it. YOU GO GIRL!!!!!
  • I had a similar situation occur with my friend/hairdresser. She said "it's not good for your uterus!" I was gobsmacked to say the least. My comeback was that it was my OBGyn who encouraged me to run and that she was a runner too. If anyone should be more worried about my uterus it would be her. I say everything is bad for…
  • I really like INC International Concepts from Macy's. I find they fit the tush well and don't leave a swarth of fabric gaping at my waist. For dress pants I really like Talbots Curvy fit!
  • I find that since my diagnosis of Celiac Disease I found my voice when it comes to this. I will politely ask what is being served, ask if they can accommodate my needs saying if not I'll gladly bring my own food as to not inconvenience anyone. I find by doing this most people will try and accommodate you. If it helps, tell…
  • OH MY GOSH, this made me giggle A LOT! I'm so sorry you are having to go through this. I get where she is coming from, but then again I get where you are coming from too! My suggestion to get your point across is to pick something of hers that you dislike and tag along and make a nuisance of yourself. For me that would be…
  • I just saw an add and wanted to add Roti. I love their menu and their GF pita's are AWESOME!!!!! http://www.roti.com/
  • I *LOVE* your response. Sounds like something I would do. I would've also whipped out the smart phone and given him the definitions of Coddle vs Comfort. Clearly you comforted your child!!!! cod·dle [kod-l] Show IPA verb (used with object), cod·dled, cod·dling. 1. to treat tenderly; nurse or tend indulgently; pamper: to…
  • I didn't scroll through everyone's responses so I apologize if I'm repeating them. I live in Chicagoland and have found these restaurants have a GF menu/items: PF Changs Biaggi's (full GF menu-the GF pizza is TO DIE FOR!) Chipotle (everything is GF but the wheat tortillas-corn are good!) Jimmy John's (just get the unwich…
