little thought, regular diet coke has 125 mg of aspartame, I use 1 packet of equal which has 37 mg in a 12 ounce of water so none of the preservatives or colors or sodium and a fourth of the aspartame. not ideal but its got to be better than a full diet coke and helps transition off of the diet colas with a little…

I use to get them every year, and every year I'd get sick, not flu sick usually just have to run to the bathroom the next few days, this got worse as I got older. One year I got one and woke up that night freezing and shaking horribly for about an hour and feeling my heart racing. I gave up getting them after that. I'm not…

I do applaud you because even diet cola is heavy on acid which can do bad things to your teeth and bones. The acid will draw calcium out of your…

I read before and after posts and articles watch inspirational movies, like challenge of a lifetime, think of swimming with my kids. Remind myself no taste is worth the feeling of being in shape. weigh myself to stay reminded of where I am and want to be. Anything to see others succeeding

I can relate, 45 feet hurt, knees hurt, hips hurt big toe. Just not allot of fun but still out there everyday mainly walking and loosing so I think its worth it. I keep thinking if I loose enough maybe it wont be so hard on my joints to carry all that weight. so far nothing bad enough to stop me. I just edge up slowly…

I do a week off about every 10 weeks, just a mental holiday from counting calories, I find I still eat well and exercise about as much as when I'm on a diet I just don't have to deal with counting calories. I also find by about the 4 th day off I'm ready to go back on so doesn't take much and its a nice break.
