a $20 food scale was the best purchase I ever made. I couldn't live with close enough... getting used to using the food scale can take time, but once you do, it'll be second nature. Good luck with whatever you decide to do! My vote is for a food scale!

My wife has been incorporating a juice with her regular food. Seems to work. Hard to eat as many veg and fruit as what you can get in a juice. I dunno... jury is still out for me. I don't necessarily think you should do the full on juice diet but whats the harm in replacing one meal or snack with a juice? I dunno.. to each…

mmmm breakfast. This morning was half cup greek yogurt, various berries (strawberry/blueberry/raspberry/blackberry). Add ground flaxseed and eat. Yum so good.

That will definitely make a difference at the beach :drinker: do it healthy though... the other responses pretty much sum up what I was going to say anyways... heed their advice. Good luck and if you find something that works…

definitely check out the TDEE - 15 or 20% and play around with that. 1200 may be too low for you...

so besides the usual "are you logging EVERYTHING and WEIGHING everything accurately" question... has anything else changed? Just looked at your diary for today. So things like the Kashi. The serving size is in number of pieces 28 pieces = 55g. Do you actually weigh the pieces? Like weigh out the 55g? Only reason I ask is…

Definitely search Leslie Sansone - will come up with a bunch of threads on here - people have definitely had success. From what I have learned, looks like a lot of folks prefer lifting over Leslie but to each their own... check out the search function and im sure you will find a lot of answers... good luck! I had read a good solution to the servings thing somewhere on the MFP forum. Something about weighing EVERYTHING afterwards in grams, like 1950g and then calling that 19.5 servings. Then when you take a portion, you would subtract the weight - 250g weight you would subtract 2.5 servings. Don't quote me on it but it was…

Tried on every single thing in my wardrobe and found NOTHING that didn't fit (even the skinny clothes I had been keeping for "one day") Its amazing when you look at belts you had to make your own holes in and now you are on the 4th hole or something. What an amazing feeling and a huge motivation to keep going!! I would…
