  • I'd like to start too. I've done a few of the videos here and there, but following the calender should be more motivating! Not sure whether to start tomorrow or wait until Monday
  • I'd like to know the same thing. I am on Cycle 2 now and, because I enjoy my exercise regime, I've just kept going with it. This is typically 30-60 minutes a day of moderate to high intensity exercise. I didn't lose any weight on Cycle 1 at all and I've become extremely fatigued after starting Cycle 2, so maybe the extra…
  • I started Cycle 2 last week. I didn't lose ANY weight in Cycle 1 so feeling a little disheartened. I seem to have lost a lot of energy too.
  • I would like to join
  • I'm interested too! Really motivated at the moment but need some support and inspiration.
  • Hi everyone, I hope you don't mind me joining this group. I'm on Day 2 of Cycle 1. I decided to try the 17 day diet because NOTHING ELSE IS WORKING!!!
  • Round 1 Day 7: just a walk today
  • Round 1 Day 6: 45 mins personal training session and a lunchtime walk
  • And Round 1 Day 6: 60 mins Power yoga
  • @kcaffee1: Loving the yoga!! It's great for flexibility and strength. Does your gym offer general yoga or is it a specific type of yoga? If you're after something to stretch you out or for relaxation check out Hatha yoga. Personally, my favourite is power vinyasa yoga: it potentially burns more calories than a run and you…
  • Round 1 Day 2 (yesterday): 45 mins personal training session and 45 general gym work (10 mins on treadmill + strength training) Round 1 Day 3: 2 x yoga classes. Sooo out of practice!!
  • @ kcaffee1: Wow! You've had a great day! Ok this last week has not been great so I'm starting again. Round 1, Day 1: Elliptical training and a circuit class. I also set an alarm on my computer to remind me to get up from my desk every 30 mins. It feels great to get back into moving :)
  • Round 1 Day 8 (yay!!! 8 days of moving!!) : 30 minutes of Blogilates with the sniffles
  • Catching up from the weekend: Round 1 Day 5 - 45 minutes Nike Training Day 6 - 45 minutes on the bf's Xbox Kinect (including running, skipping, boxing, strength and 23 minutes of yoga) Day 7 - 45 minutes Nike Training
  • Thanks for your welcome and advice :) Round 1 Day 4: What a day not to exercise! Between sleep deprivation, a flooded bathroom, travelling 4 hours and meetings during my yoga lunch time I haven't done much. Took advantage of my coworker's absence and did 5-10 minute circuits in my office throughout the day as well as a…

  • Hi Tara! Welcome to MFP. I can totally relate - I've been trying to lose weight (to varying degrees) for about 6 months and haven't made any progress. Actually, my weight now is more than my starting weight! I'm giving it another go and so far I've been really motivated and logging my calories nearly every day. I'm also…
  • I'm happy for anyone to add me too! Really struggling to get the scales moving (in the right direction) so any support, advice and encouragement is welcome!
  • This sounds good. I'm doing a weight loss challenge at my gym but haven't lost any weight (or inches!!) after exercising hard almost every day. I'd love to share progress regularly and find out what works for others. It might help to have some support :)
  • I'm 5'f'5''. Goal weight around 150 and then around 140. Was 128 at my lowest but I don't think I can be 16 again! Like many of you, I think body fat % is a better measure, but I don't have an accurate way of regularly tracking it.
  • I'm not Paleo (I like cappuccinos too much) but am also interested in whether anyone has had weight loss success with this approach. My diet seems to be gradually moving in the Paleo direction so I'm keen to hear any success stories.
  • Do you have a recipe for this? It sounds intriguing...and yummy
  • Hi, I'm an Aussie too. I signed up here about a month ago but haven't been good about logging in. I'd love to lose 10kg but lack the motivation. Sugar is definitely my weakness, so I'm restricting sugar for one month and hoping I'll notice some changes.
