Put your info into MFP and eat the number of calories that they give you plus the number that you burn exercising. The person that set this site up was very smart and doesn't need us to fix it or think about it. If you do just what it says you will lose weight.

Get a fitbit and then you'll know how many calories your burning. If you are trying to lose weight do more exercise on the weekends, with kids that should be easy to do. I don't log on weekends but I've maintained the same weight now for about a year. To lose you will have to be a little more dedicated.

I work shoulders, chest/triceps, legs/abs, back/biceps. usually 30 minutes of cardio after. Mostly free weights. Rep range 10, 8, 6.

Yes, I've been counting calories for years. Sometimes if I go out to eat I don't count but I'm maintaining and count calories most of the time.

If you log it as dumbbell, put the weight of the dumbbell.

When I can't stop thinking about it, I have it. This morning I made a pumpkin spice latte at home, 1/2 cup of milk and 1 tablespoon pumpkin spice syrup....it even upped my protein for breakfast.

I have an FT4 too, love it. I just got a fitbit one and don't use my HRM as much as I did before. What kind of exercise do you do?

Not in a healthy way, just start exercising and doing better with your food choices. If you try to lose weight that fast you will be losing muscle instead of fat and messing up your metabolism and body composition. This site can help you lose weight the right way. Good Luck.

I'm 60 yrs old and way the same that I did when I got married at 23. I think the size I wear now may be smaller.....but I really have no idea what size I wore then.

The same thing happened to my ankles when I was trying to do C25K, my ankles couldn't take it and I kept it up until I actually had trouble walking. Maybe you should try some lower impact exercises like lifting weights, elliptical machines or stationery bikes. Good Luck.

Congratulations! Don't give up, it will be the best thing you've ever done for yourself. I gained 10lbs when I quit smoking and kept it on for years but now I way less than I did when I quit. Just keep working out and eating right and don't worry about it. It will all even out later.
