  • Honestly when I hit a plateau, the best thing for me to do is take a weekend where I go off my diet. Eat what you want. Then come back. You may have gained but it will come right off once you get back to it. Or if you're not looking to do that. Switch your goal to maintaining for a little bit then switch back to dieting.
  • Yeah I usually start gaining weight 3-4 days before my TOM and then lose it all when I start or at least by the end and its been up to 3 lbs. Probably more when I'm not working out. Drink tons of water which will combatt the water retention, warm teas really help with cramps too and its a great tasty way to get your water…

  • I was told to do one week of a slow continuous pace, then the next week do intervals of sprints to light jog or walk. The first week builds up enderance the next builds strength. Should get you up to par. Remember to rest before the 5k! And good luck!
