I work 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. And then have a 3 hour class on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I also teach and assist yoga three times a week. It's crazy. :) but I plan my week - when I can go to the gym or yoga and what I can eat. It's the only way for me. I have to plan it all out.

You may have better luck in a JM group. :)

As a full-time student and full-time worker, PLANNING is key for me. I plan my meals, prep as much as I can in advance and then plan when I can go to the gym... then I just DO IT. No matter how much I want to talk myself out of it, I just have to do it because I know there is no other time. Good luck!

I used to get them all the time when I started running. I have oversupination so I got fitted properly for the right running shoes at a specialty store and bought some insoles for running. I didn't really get them much after that - I think the right running shoes really helped. Now, I really only get them if I run or walk…

Alright. I bought the Strong Curves book and will start the program when I finish reading it. In the meantime, I'm lifting 4x/week and cardio 1x/week. Now that I'm not doing cardio constantly, I'm a little confused about my calorie deficit. MFP suggests 1420 cals/day for -1lb/week. But Scooby's calculator suggests 2375 for…

Just curious why you drink coconut water before a workout? For hydration? I think there are some better options out there. And I'm not really sure where this thread will go... but I think sugar is sugar. I prefer some Ultima powder mixed with water for hydration. It gives me the electrolytes I need when I'm doing a super…

THIS. And squats KILL my knees even with the most perfect form. There are lots of other options.

We will always want to look like something/someone else until we truly learn to love ourselves for who we are and what we were born to look like. Our society doesn't help either - telling us what the perfect body type is. There are no magic words anyone can give you to get passed this. Therapy is a good option. You are you…

I just made mine with some bottled teriyaki sauce last night. I patted it dry well, crumbled it into a container and then marinated it for an hour. Then I just spread it out over a baking sheet and baked for 30-40 minutes. I'm using it for quick salads for the week.

I looked up Strong Curves on Amazon - it has great reviews. I will definitely look into getting it! Thank you!

Thanks! I do stick to a calorie deficit - I lost plenty of weight doing this so I understand the CICO concept. But I noticed that when I ONLY did cardio and no weights, I was slim but "soft", no real muscle tone. That's what I'm trying to avoid this time around.

About 8 years ago I did the Jenny Craig program and found that Lean Cuisine meals are almost nutritionally identical to the frozen meals from Jenny - the only difference was Jenny has you add as much lean greens as you want (spinach, broccoli, etc.) I lost a very significant amount of weight doing this and it was very…

I make wraps with Flatout flatbread (usually kind find them in the deli and they are super yum!). I put all kinds of things in them - lately I've been making them with fresh mozzarella and spinach and then dipping them in marinara sauce. So good!

THIS.

Not completely sure how this is offensive. It doesn't diminish your progress. But okay, buddy.

I've started taking them during my workout with glutamine (mixed with water in a shaker bottle to sip on during workouts) and I do notice I am way less sore than usual. I haven't been taking them long enough to tell you anything long term though. Good luck!

I disagree with this person as usual. I definitely would not recommend a cheap multivitamin. Do some unbiased research about multivitamins - I take a powder form called Sport Formula that I purchase a nutrition shop and I really like it. I've always been told the only things you NEED are the things you're lacking. The only…

You'll always be the #1 shirtless torso.

Apparently, this thread was my personal invitation for more shirtless torsos to friend request me...

omg you are adorable.

I can't believe you figured me out so fast. :(

Humans are physically attracted to other humans. That primal instinct doesn't magically turn off when you're in a relationship.

Working on your confidence should be numero uno - self confidence goes a loooong way.

I think I might have injured myself when I rolled my eyes so hard at the title of this thread. But uh yeah, whatever works for you I guess.

Awww I love this! So sweet :)

Ehh, I never liked Izzie. And those granny panties are making me cringe a little bit.

I would suggest switching to maintenance for a few days to allow yourself some extra calories and then get back to it once it's over. But go easy on yourself. We're built to house babies - that's kind of a big deal. :)

@Splenda_Daddy this totally makes me miss my gauges.

Mmmm Snickers.
