Well for me it was really simple. I live overseas and so the only way I could have done WW would be to pay for it online. So if all I'm going to do is log my food and exercise online on a website, why PAY for it when I can get it for free on MFP?

1/4 cup steel cut oatmeal with 1oz of blueberries and a glass of milk.

Paid off our car that we haven't used in 3 years (we didn't ship it overseas when we moved) so that when we return to the States and purchase another vehicle we won't be paying on 2 car notes with one salary and bought me a new laptop.

Whole milk instead of reduced fat/fat free?

I believe I'm taking that same vitamin and my pee isn't yellow.

I had the shin splints, I had the achy muscles and then the knee problems. I found that a really good round of stretching before and after my run helped with the shin splints and muscles but that the knee problem persisted. Then I bought new shoes and my knee problems seem to have gone away. Although I'm still hitting up…

I started this year at 303 and am now at 282.8 as of two days ago. My ultimate goal weight is somewhere between 140 and 150, I'm thinking 143. I've found this site and the small group of friends that I've made here (along with my real life best friend) to be so helpful in my weight loss journey. So feel free to add me.

Well my ultimate goal that I'm working towards is being half the size that I was at the beginning of this year (303 pounds). I reached my first goal of losing 10% of my total weight loss goal. I'm now working on losing 10% of my total weight (I've got 10 more pounds to go). At my first 25 pounds lost I'm going to treat…

I've been known to turn the volume down on the tv and shush my kids in order to avoid answering the door before. Haha

I'm apparently on a historical romance novel kick right now and am about to start the 5th book in the Hansen series by Kris Tualla. After that I might reread The Hunger Games to refresh myself for when the movie comes out. But if I don't then I'll probably just choose a book at random on my Kindle since I get a handful of…

I had my first person notice today (and my mother doesn't count since she knows I'm trying to lose weight and I feel like she's obligated to say those kind of things). I haven't seen her in about 2 months and I've lost 20 pounds since then. It made me feel so good to finally have someone notice. The next best thing was…

I love you standing inside one leg of your old fat jeans. It's like you're a denim mermaid! Hehe But that's a great job only losing 100 pounds (yeah I'm just gonna give you that extra pound lost because you deserve it) in just over a year.

Your new belly looks fabulous. I'm lucky that my husband has already told me that once I've lost all of my weight that I can have the skin removal surgery because I know I'm bound to have some due to having been overweight for the past 20 some odd years and 2 kids. I've just got to get myself down there first.

If all else fails go see your doctor to make sure that there's not something physically wrong with you that a new pair of shoes won't help.
-
I agree as well but whenever and however you weigh yourself make sure that you do it that same way every time so your results are the most consistently accurate that they can be.
-
First of all, congratulations on your amazing weight loss. I'm hoping to do about the same. Secondly, you're absolutely stunning now. Finally, I love your hair!

My friend and I split a molten chocolate cake at Chili's (go go 510 calories each!) but because we walked there we were able to make sure that we were still under on our calories for the day. Haha

My friend and I are going to be starting W3D1 today of this program and we love it. I started this program at around 290 pounds and had actually been planning on putting it off because of how much I weigh and I didn't want to put undue stress on my knees. Now I will admit that my knees do hurt (not in an OMG THE PAIN THE…

Haha seems that we had similar inspirations. Mine is because I went through an X-men phase as well and really liked Shadowcat at the time but I had to make it cutesy and so it became shadowkitty and the 22 is because I like the number 2 so why not have 2 of them. :)

So I totally had to go and look up what a stone was in weight loss. I'd first heard about it in a book I was reading but didn't bother to look it up then. I then converted my current weight into stones and I like that number much better. I weigh 20 stones (or is it just stone?) and have lost almost 1.5 stones. Although I…

That'll do it. My weekly calories go down every week that I lose weight. It's typically between 10-30 calories depending on my weight loss.

I personally only use my pedometer for when I'm exercising.
-
I also use the pedometer function of my iPod nano and it not only tracks my steps but my distance, time and calories burned as well.
-
Did you make sure to change back your activity level and your weekly weight loss goals? Along with your CW, GW and all the other numbers?
-
I wouldn't really worry about a 10 calorie difference either since as soon as you lose some weight with your next weigh in your daily calorie limit will be reduced yet again.

I log as I go. I tend to already know how much I'm going to eat on a regular basis though since I'm a SAHM and can pretty much ensure that I eat the same style of things every day (i.e. oatmeal with blueberries for breakfast and something low calorie for my snacks and lunches). I tend to know that even without exercise I…

I'm 5'5" (but really what's an inch in height difference amongst those that wish to lose weight right?) and have a goal of 150. At my highest I was 303 (that was the beginning of this year) and I'm now down to 285.4.
