The fact that I've lost 47 pounds this year so far and there's no way in hell I'm going to ever gain those pounds back. I agree with a previous poster about your kids not wanting to remember you being a fat parent. My daughter is 5 years old and most likely won't remember being this size when she's older, there's only…

I agree! Although I don't save them to my hard drive. I just like to see the chart every week. I look forward to it to see how well we're all doing.

Hello Friend! I started this journey of mine at 303 pounds this year and only walking on the treadmill at a 3.0 and I would work up a sweat (I still do in fact because apparently my natural walking speed is like a 2.5). My shins and calves hurt the first few times but then I started properly stretching before and after my…

I find that Zumba is much easier in an actual classroom setting than with a game on the console. The games just don't break it down enough and also nitpick that you don't get the move exactly right. While in a classroom I can modify a move if I need to for whatever reason and I'm not going to get called out for doing it…

If I were to make this much money for the rest of my life until I retired/died I would do the obvious stuff. I'd pay off our debts, get us a custom built home (with a seriously kick *kitten* Korean style bathroom because I'm so going to miss this once we move), save up money for our kids to go to college, save for…

I've heard this as well but I'm currently not working out enough to handle drinking 16 cups of water a day (when I started this journey it would've been 19 cups a day oi vey)! I've just recently worked myself up to being able to do 12 regularly. But for me, just the fact that I'm pretty much drinking exclusively water now…

Congrats on meeting your mini goal only a week late. Yeah I know there's a .8 after that 309 but the important part is there's a 309. :)

Personally I'm not obese and haven't been for awhile. I stepped off the cliff into morbid obesity some time ago and just apparently never really cared until the beginning of this year when the scale hit a whole brand new set of numbers that started with a THREE! SO. NOT. COOL. So that's when things finally got serious for…

Yeah that'd be me, except for it was only 1 state over and it'll be 6 years of marriage this summer but we've been together for 8 now.

Thanks! I am so looking forward to going home. It's been three long wonderful years here in South Korea but it really is just time to get back to the States and it feels great to be going home lighter than when we arrived here. I know that you can reach your goals for your high school reunion as well.

Thrift stores? I know that's where I plan on getting the most for my money.

They honestly probably don't. That's why they all look much thinner and angular at the end of it than when they went in at the beginning.

So I just found it amusing that with the total weight loss of the group (probably happened last week honestly) that we have "lost" me, or at least what I weighed at the beginning of the year. I started out at 303 and have lost at least 43 pounds this year so far and I'm still going strong. I'm aiming for at least 50 before…

ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME I have to agree with the love for David Tennat as well. It took me a little while to get into season 5 simply for the fact that he was gone. That and that I actually had to wait for the episodes to come out compared to just sitting down with the first four and having a marathon of them. Now if only…

I started the year off at 303 and have lost 42.8 pounds so far. I've lost weight every week so far, sometimes 5 pounds while others was as little as 1. I just drink lots of water (I don't really drink much of anything else but if I do I make sure to earn it with exercise), got lots of exercise and made better food choices.…

I measure and weigh everything! In fact, my food scale is going to be packed into my suitcase for when we fly back home to the States in two weeks because there's no way in hell I'm waiting a few weeks up to a few months for it to arrive in our shipment of household goods.

I found that MFP burns were lower in comparison to what my HRM told me. For instance, my HRM told me that I burned 1400 calories during a 30 minute bike ride while MFP (and every other website I go to for calorie estimates) tells me that I burn significantly less. So I figured it was the HRM and just stopped using it. I…

I have no gap and I don't believe I ever have. Even at the thinnest weight I can remember myself being at, I always had chub rub and it sucked to wear skirts and dresses because I would have heat rash (or whatever it's called) before the end of the day. I've found though that rubbing lotion on my inside thighs or baby…

Oh holy crap! So I participated in my local USO's Photo Scavenger hunt today where we had to walk all over base and take pictures of things on the list. I walked for a total of 4 hours 10 minutes, 10.3 miles and burned 1463 calories! My daily calories is only 1570! And the sucky part is that when I finished it was 1 pm and…

You can totally see a reduction in your belly area. Great job.

I'm not because there is no midnight showing here. It's not even arriving at my theater until May 11th and even then we're not going to see it until after the 22nd. But that's what happens when you live overseas and are moving back home towards the end of the month. Why pay for a babysitter to go see the movie when I can…

Not really. I'm actually kinda a mix between which photo I like the best. I like the top half of the second photo better but I like the thighs better in the first picture because they don't look as big. I feel like the bikini bottom looks smaller because it's fighting to be seen in the midst of those new muscular thighs.…

My knee hurt (before, during and after 30DS) and so I modified my movements. When she tells me that there's no modification for a jumping jack and her 400 pound people on Biggest Loser can do them, I just laugh at her and say she's obviously never met me and my bum knee. I wind up just kicking out one leg at a time while…

Holy moley that is quite the walk. I applaud you for being able to just keep going and going. I think I would eventually get bored and head home, unless I had something really pretty to look at it.

I seem to rotate between Dove, Suave and Secret.

They're just now making commercials for a food item that has been in the states for the last 15+ years? And they're just NOW realizing that it isn't healthy?

Today I am grateful that my husband finally got his orders for us to PCS back home to the United States after living overseas for the past 3 years. :)

Is there a local community center with free kid activities that you can look into? Buy a croquet set to use in your backyard once you move? Hula hoops, jump ropes, sidewalk chalk, lots of water bottles and sunscreen to keep them hydrated and protected for when they play outside (because otherwise I think you will go insane…
