That seems right. I have seen the chocolate one but I don't like icy ice creams so I don't think sorbetto is going to do it for me.
-
I hated it. But I am an ice cream snob, so. I tried the lemon cake one that everyone is always raving about.
-
I like the Pecan Praline a lot-- I've been eating it for a couple of weeks. There's a Grooms Cake flavor too that I saw but haven't tried-- it's the chocolate version I guess.

Snagged the Bluebell Bride's Cake yesterday and it's really good. Almond base with chunks of soft cake and a swirl of real frosting. There's not much point in photographing it since it's just white, but I recommend it. 190 calories per serving.

Might as well eat for your hair color, OP. Come to think of it there's probably a fad diet for that.

And if, like homeopathy, many studies are done and none of them show any positive outcomes, they'll just say "research isn't yet conclusive" and more should be done.
-
^that To me it's 100% cheating but every relationship has its own rules. The two of you, should you stay together, have to determine what those rules are going to be.
-
That sounds awesome

I'm not a huge fan of them, but I can eat the ones with truffles in a pinch if I only have 160 calories to spare. I always find the Breyers base disappointing whether it's ice cream, gelato, or whatever.
-
Just a driveby to say don't bother with the Breyers Gelato Indulgences cookie dough flavor. I don't mind their chocolate or caramel truffle ones for low calorie days, but the cookie dough is just sad. Mostly vanilla with a tiny bit of fudge ribbon and a few cookie dough blobs sprinkled on top. Bluebell cookie dough (once…

My grandmother's wedding vows read "to love, honor, and make cornbread." That tells you all you need to know about how low-carb my family was.
-
Only if you don't mind when @WinoGelato drives to your house to cut you.

I've been here since 2011 and it seems the same to me. How long has it been without losing anything? If you'd like help you could open up your diary so that we can see what you're doing.

To the OP's point, I was raised in the southern midwest in the 80s. We ate most meals at home but there were plenty of sugary breakfast cereals and such, and we usually had ice cream in the freezer. My grandma made cookies a lot, and homemade bread (which I miss a lot more than the cookies-- she burned those every time).…

This hits me funny, on a completely unrelated point, because we were specifically NOT allowed to go out to eat after church. We were discouraged by our pastor from normalizing the practice of working on Sundays.

The other problem is that since almost all chronic illness goes through cycles of remission and relapse, it can be really tricky to pinpoint when something actually works. If you take it and you feel better it's natural to assume that whatever you changed made an impact, but lots of times that's not the case, and it was…

No it isn't supposed to be icy. I wonder if it melted and refroze.

I can't imagine how a person with a degree in biotechnology and minor in microbiology could possibly need to do more research. If anyone in this thread has "done their research" I'm pretty sure it's @elphie754 .

I completely agree with you. Sorry if I didn't make that clear-- it was early! :D I only intended to say that I hesitate to say that nothing is wrong with those people. I just don't believe that adrenal fatigue is it.
-
I'm one of those-- I was originally diagnosed with seronegative lupus. Now they've decided it's fibromyalgia. Some of my symptoms are still unexplained, so I understand the appeal of something like "adrenal fatigue." There's something really powerful about being able to name the thing that's wrong. But I have yet to see…

I am not a big fan of Twinkies so I haven't been too tempted by that one. I did try a new brand (new to me anyway) called High Road tonight. They have a lot of flavors that sound interesting-- Bourbon Burnt Sugar and Aztec Chocolate caught my eye. But I went with Caramel Pecan. It's got a nice base with a deep caramel…

I eat back every single one. But I've been tracking calories a long time and I know from lots of experience that fitbit is reasonably accurate for me. I would say to approach the same as everything else-- try doing it one way for awhile (6 weeks to start) and then adjust if needed based on your results.

Take @lemurcat12 's suggestions. My husband only did corn, potatoes, peas, crushed tomatoes, and canned green beans (ew) when we got married. Now he's added sweet potatoes, onions, zucchini, carrots, and eggplant. So, you know, progress. I think roasting is the best way to try new veggies, personally. It seems to give them…

I feel cheated now! :p That definitely wasn't the norm in the area where I attended school or taught.
-
I agree, it's unfair to say that schools don't care about student health. I can tell you that even in schools with no fast food or a la carte options, all of the apples and vegetables end up in the trash. The school is stuck between throwing money away buying the fruit/vegetables that they know will end up not getting…
-
Weird. Maybe it's the area? I'm not doubting your contention, it's just so vastly different from my own experience it took me aback. I'm from the midwest and I've never seen a school that didn't have a salad bar.
-
I was a public school teacher and this is news to me. Every school where I taught had a salad bar, a regular meal line (which generally involved a veggie, a starch, and some kind of protein), and in some cases an "a la carte" line where kids could get pizza or chicken nuggets (no a la carte options in the poorest district,…

I personally adhere to the idea that you should be as accurate as you need to be in order to be successful and not drive yourself crazy. I've been told that body builders will go as far as separating egg yolks from whites and weighing each separately. That's a bit too far for me. But I do prefer to log fairly accurately…

Talking to someone I find attractive feels like even more work than talking to someone I don't find attractive. I don't like work.
