So I just started and the seat is supper uncomfortable

My doc put me on a diet.....
this is my first complete week loging in tracking my calories. CRAZY! I'm a mom of two who gave in for about 8yrs and now I want to reclaim what's rightfully mine!.....My health and body! Oh yeah! Who's with me!?! GRRRR!
my partner is not a social/group excersizing type of person but I am. Is there anyone in the area that can push/motivate me to excersizing as well as be ok with being pushed and motivated. My goal is to loose 10 lbs to start with and take if 5 lbs at a time.
