Gained 5kg from Long Distance running now can't get it off!!!

Not regular when dropping calories...
I think I read this somewhere before but when i drop down to say 1200 - 1300 calories i don't go for a few days? Why is this? It's like my body needs more food to digest before going?

Hungry all the time - especially when exercising!!!
Whenever I do exercise that burns around 600 calories i am so hungry the next day I eat back that and more without even thinking about it. How do I stop? I have protein at most meals, snacks etc...But if I don't exercise I feel horrible but I can stick to 1200 cal easy!

Weight Gain
Anyone else gain weight while exercising hard? Last two days I have burnt over 1000 calories doing exercise but have gained 1.5kg????? So disheartening but I feel so much better!
