One thing that has kept me on track with calorie counting is having meals that are basically staples in my diet. That way I know what I’ll eat without having to risk the want/need to order take out. I’ve heard for fat loss you need to be in a calorie deficit and for muscle GAIN you have to be in a calorie surplus.
