Hi there. I am a school teacher looking to loose about 14 pounds but most importantly tone up. Been on MFP for three days now and looking for friends for mutual support.
I'm fairly new here and want to tone up generally, as well as loose about 12 pounds. BUT my understanding is that if I tone my muscles and loose weight at the same time, my scales will get confused since muscle is heavier than fat. Should I just ignore the scales and monitor body fat? Really perexed. Would appreciate some…
Can someone please explain why some say drinking loads of water will aid weight loss. And does a cup of tea count as a cup of water?
