How do I log this food?!?
My parents are pork, beef, and chicken farmers. So when they get animals butchered they give my husband and myself some meat. How do I log the meat when I eat it though? I type in "Natural Mild Italian Sausage" but it's all brands. Do I make my own food from the meats? I'm confused.

Too many calories?
I feel like the calorie goal MFP has given me is a lot. Maybe because I have never minded calories until recently? The given goal is 2,040 calories. I weigh 275lbs and am trying to loose 1lb/week to reach my goal of 185lbs.
