Mapmyfitness steps
I'm sure this question has been asked 100times before but I can't find the answer. How does mapmyfitness calculate steps during a walk or run? Thanks

Mfp deficit!
Just out of curiosity. I've read in alot of threads that after putting in all of your details the calorie goal that mfp sets gives you a deficit of 500 calories a day. So provided I don't go over by more then 3500 calories a week then I should still lose some weight? Just interested in other people's interpretation and…

Jumping on the bandwagon.
Really good unsure of what to think right now. For the last couple of weeks I thought I'd jump to the bandwagon and try and track my steps. I looked at getting a fitbit but couldn't justify spending a couple of hundred dollars on one. I upgraded my phone recently and it came with an app, that tracks steps, called lifelog.…

In need of some active buddies
Hi, I'm a 34 year old aussie female. I'm halfway through to my goal, starting weight was 58kg, goal weight 48kg and current weight 52.5kg. I'm pretty excited at the thought of dropping under 50kg but in the last month have only lost half a kilo. I'm looking for some people to spur me on. Cheers

Breakfast, is it ok to skip it?
Hi, I have about 6kg to lose to reach my goal weight and have already lost 4kg. I'm not looking for any quick fixes or to lose it fast. After all it took me ten years to gradually put on the ten kilos I want to lose. Anyway what I've been noticing is that I'm eating a small breakfast for the sake of eating breakfast. Most…

Walking on the spot
I know this probably sounds weird and it's not something that I'll be planning on doing every day but I'm sitting on the lounge watching TV thinking how bad I feel because I haven't done my at home workout that I've been doing. Recently when I've been on this situation I've gone for an hour walk once hubs and bubs are in…

Alcohol!
So it's a Saturday night and I've been really good at not drinking "for no reason" but tonight I just really felt like a cider. Four later and I've drunk half of my calorie intake. Surely I'm not the only person that has done this from time to time.

Sedentary, lightly active or active.
Hi everyone, My name's Karen and I'm currently a stay at home mum of a 2 year old girl. I'm unsure whether I should have my level set at lightly active or sedentary. I've swapped it from one to the other from time to time and it doesn't change my total calories in anyway, so I've never been overly concerned about it. I'm…

1200 calories a day.
I'd love to see some suggestions/ideas on how people achieve 1200 calories a day but hit their targets for macros, especially things like protein and iron? Cheers
