Sciatica
I've been dealing with what I think is sciatic nerve pain for the past 4 months. It was manageable at first, and only really bothered me at night when I layed in bed. It's getting to be pretty serious now, effecting me during the day, keeping me up all night. I have a horrible time trying to get out of bed in the morning,…

Mfp not adding exercise calories from fitbit
I can see my steps but no exercise calories have been added. I checked on the desktop site and it shows them, just not on the mobile app. Anyone having this issue?

Losing weight is such a constant battle
Just a little rant I want to get out. This is really the only place I find comfort in expressing my weightloss journey, I feel we all can relate and are all trying our best (even when we don't lol). It's tough when people around you don't understand. I'm at a constant mental battle with myself. "Don't eat this, don't eat…

Fit bit doubled my exercise calories?
I've never seen this before so I'm pretty sure it's a glitch. There's 2 fit but calorie burns in my diary.... I did work out extra hard today but I doubt I burned over 2,000 calories. I'm assuming it added an extra one. Anyone seen this before? My diary is public ( I have not logged anything yet today, but I did eat so…

Alcohol
I rarely drink, maybe once every few months. Today's such a gorgeous day, I'm thinking about going out with my fiance to a cool outdoor restaurant/bar and maybe getting a few beers while we listen to some live music. I just don't want to sabotage my work. Any suggestions on beer or drinks on the lighter side?

Macros
So I've never really watched my macros before. I've been focusing on calories and just try to eat lots of protein and not too many carbs. I had my first meeting with my personal trainer today. He wants me to do 40% carbs 40% protein and 20% fats. Haven't quite figured it out yet, it's only day one so I will have to…

Increased hunger on rest days
I work out 5 days a week, I eat back about 50% of my excercise calories usually. I've noticed on my rest days I'm more hungry then usually and I'm trying not to go over my deficit. Could this be because my body is used to eating more on my workout days? Any tips on how I can avoid over eating? I have my calories set to…

Advocare 24 day challenge?
Has anyone tried the advocare 24 day challenge and had success? I'm thinking about as I've had a lot or recommendations but it's pretty expensive.

When did you start seeing results?
I guess I'm getting a bit down lately. My weight loss has been slow. I'm currently 253. My goal right now is to get below 250, and I seem to be going nowhere fast. When did you start seeing results and how big or small were they?

Tips for becoming a runner?
I'm 5'4, 255. Running has never come easy to me but has always been something I want to do. My routine at the gym is usually to get on the treadmill and slow job for as long as I can. At first I can usually last about 2 minutes before I have to slow down to a walk. My heart rate gets up to 200 and it's hard for me to…

Does my Fitbit seem accurate?
I'm 5'3, 255 pounds. I work a desk job, 10-12 hour shifts 4 days a week. I have a Fitbit HR. I go to the gym in the morning which is where I usually get most of my steps in. I range between 5k-7k steps a day (I know it's not much). According to my fitbit synced with MFP I'm burning 700-1000 calories a day. I know the…

Has anyone had success with eating half of their calories back?
I always thought "eat less, excercise more" so that's what I did. I tried to eat around 1200 calories a day and never ate any of my calories burned. It doesn't seem to be working for me though. I've seen a lot of people recommend to eat half of your excercise calories back and I'm going to start trying this. I've reset my…

Could eating too little cause me to not lose weight?
Just curious, I have been restricting myself to around 1300 - 1400 calories a day. I've been going to the gym 5 days a week for the past 2 weeks. I haven't seen any weight loss. In the past I tried the 21 day fix, I lost 15 pounds in a month. Most of my diet is based around things I ate while doing the 21 day fix. Lots of…

How do you handle going over your calories?
I definitely had a bad day today food wise. I went well over my calories, and didn't make the healthiest decisions. Panera Bread is my weakness and I caved. Today also happens to be my rest day, so I'm feeling a bit guilty. Any one else have days like this? I know I'm gonna pick right back up tomorrow at the gym and making…

I'm getting very discouraged
I have been eating decent and going to the gym for the past 2 weeks straight. I haven't been seeing much results and keep fluctuating between 1-2 pounds. I have my calories set around 1200 a day. I sometimes go over a couple hundred calories but I have MFP synced with my Fitbit and I'm burning 700-1000 calories a day. I do…

Not losing weight, only maintaining?
I've been on MFP for about 2 weeks now. I have my calories set at 1,400. My goal is to burn about 500 calories a day. Unfortunately some days I don't get to work out because it's so busy at work (I work a desk job) pulling 12 hour days. But I do work out at least 5 days a week. I do a mix of 30 minute workouts (21 day fix…
