Making a restaurant "go-to" list
Has anyone else done this? I'm getting close to my goal weight and looking towards maintenance. I have a day planner where I'm going through my most frequently visited restaurants and writing out a list of healthier, low-cal option meals so I don't have to look at an app every time. I will still log everything but it's…

Adult acne question
I'm not sure which board is best but I have an odd question. I had been suffering from acne this last year very badly. It was mostly around my chin and was boderline cystic. They were very painful and embarrassing. I'm 37, I was 5'3" and about 154lbs so not obese and I ate a moderately healthy diet. In January, I started…

I've lost 10lbs!
I gave myself 25 weeks to lose 25lbs and I'm doing it! 10lbs in 10 weeks! Every time I see another pound gone on the scale it makes me want to keep going. So thankful for MFP! This works!

This works
I see so many people coming on here wanting some magical solution. The solution is right here. All the answers people give over and over again are just facts. If you are really serious about losing weight, do what people here tell you to do. Today is my weigh in day of the week and I lost another pound. I've just been…

PB2
I just got a 2 pack (regular and chocolate) of PB2 and was looking for some ways to incorporate it into my diet. I LOVE peanut butter so I'm excited to try this as a lower calorie alternative. I'm going to add it to my banana cream protein shakes and I was thinking about mixing it up and trying with apple slices. Any other…

Is anyone eating back most of their exercise calories?
Because I am and it still seems to be working. I had no idea that I shouldn't be before coming on the boards. I have my activity set to lightly active and I eat back most (somedays all) of my exercise earned calories and still seem to be losing. Am I alone?

Aren't all diets basically the same?
I know this should be obvious but after reading this board recently it just has really struck me that basically (because of the realities of science) all diets are trying to get to the same destination...calorie deficit. Some may do it by eliminating a certain type of food or timing, etc but it is all the same. It's like…

How to decide on a goal weight
I'm doing great and losing weight consistently but I'm not sure where my goal line should be. I picked a pretty arbitrary number and now I'm not sure if that is really too much for my body shape. How do you decide?

Biggest lesson learned by tracking calories?
It has been eye opening for me just seeing how much I can eat and stay within my allowed calorie budget. One of the biggest things I have realized is that there really isn't room for soda. I'm not a huge soda drinker but I can see how easily it is to drink 150-200 calories worth of nothing. It doesn't feel worth it…

Monday!
Trying to forget the meal I had last night and start fresh this week. I keep thinking about these Girl Scout cookies sitting in our break area at work but I'm trying to focus on having a good meal, good day and good week. Keep me motivated! Going to burn 350 cal on the spin bike today and hope to be able to do 15 pushups.

Plateaus and Goals
Hi, I'm new to the boards. I'm on a special assignment for work out of the country for 6 months and I'm trying to use this opportunity to lost weight. I've been doing MFP since the middle of January and I've lost 9lbs. I'm 5'3" and I've gone from 154.6 to 145.6. I'm trying to decide what my goal should be since I will be…
