To me, it would be far more important to feel good on my wedding day about my weight.

This is ridiculous advice. When I see someone overweight running, I obviously notice that there is a human there but not everyone judges you. In my mind, I cheer them on. We all started somewhere. Don't hide. Do your best and keep going.

I've lost 22lbs using MFP and just having a daily calorie deficit since January. I eat whatever I want if it fits in my daily allowance of calories. I have ice cream a couple of times a week, pizza, whatever. It is finally something I can stick with.

I have a job where I can't leave my desk. I drink FitMiss shakes from Amazon with some PB2 powder and bring a salad and that gets me through.
-
I finally started to lose my thighs when I hit the 130s. I'm still hoping the last 6lbs comes mostly from there!
-
MFP is designed for you to eat those calories back. You should be eating closer to 1500 calories a day if you are burning 400-600. You may have also given up some caffeine which could be causing the headaches.

This is terrible advice IMO. I have been eating back 50-75% of my exercise calories and still losing exactly 1lb/week.
-
resolve to stick with it be as accurate as you can with logging move more find ways that work for you (I gave up mayo and soda because the calories weren't worth it)
-
Pre-log your food, only eat what you pre-log, build in some treats, don't drink a ton of calories

Dukan is a dangerous diet and this thread will be closed in 3, 2, 1....

Keep at it! It keeps working! I've lost 21lbs since January but I didn't have as much to lose. I'm 6lbs from my goal weight! The best part is that the walking (and maybe even running) gets easier as the pounds come off.

Low carb typically works by creating a calorie deficit
-
Someone will post the chart but you probably aren't accurately logging your food.
-
agree...Garcinia doesn't seem harmful but just arguing the logic
-
I eat something sweet every day. I just make it fit into my daily intake.

The best exercise is the one that you enjoy, that you have time and energy to do and that you will be able to sustain. I have to run for my job so I run a couple of times a week. I love doing Zumba and spin classes because they burn a lot and I like the music.

Please don't let Dr. Oz dictate what is safe.
-
None of your plan seems to be rooted in actually following MFP. You seem to be picking arbitrary calorie goals.
-
Losing weight should not involve constant hunger and starving yourself. I'm eating around 1200 cal every day and not starving.
-
I focus on calories and do my best on the rest. I don't obsess on the other macros. Personally, I'm trying to work on upping my fiber for my only digestion issues but the rest is no big deal to me.
-
In my experience, no. I set MFP to lose 1lb/week and I have lost 1lb/week every single week. Do you feel your log is accurate?
-
I'm 5'3" and weight 134 so I only get 1280cal/day while I'm still in the losing weight phase. I feel like I still get plenty to eat but I try to do some kind of exercise a day, even if it is 30 min of walking and listening to a podcast. Average food day: coffee english muffin w/cream cheese egg banana and FiberOne 90…

Please no with starvation mode. The truth is she is far more likely not logging food and/or exercise correctly.
-
I was 154 in January. I set a goal of 129 and then changed it to 127. I'm at 134 as of today and I will reevaluate when I get to 127 and see if that's enough. I'm 5'3"

Why are you setting a 7pm food deadline?
-
I lost weight eating low carb because I was eating less calories. I was eating more lean protein and veggies. I was also miserable.
-
If it isn't working it's definitely time to change it up. I just wanted to make it clear that it is possible.

I definitely agree and I am also a big baker when I am home so I have a pretty good eye for what the difference is between a 1/2 cup and what is really a cup. I also have a nutrition guide for what they serve at our cafeteria so I have a pretty good idea of what I'm eating and if I have to pick on MFP, I never chose the…

So I guess I'm a weird anomaly but I haven't weighed a gram of my food and I've lost 1lb/week or more since starting MFP in January. I've now lost 20lbs. I'm 5'3" and I started at 154 and I'm now at 134. I don't even have measuring cups. I'm working overseas and I eat in a work cafeteria for every meal so I can't make my…

I would swing shift (afternoon to night) and I get up around 9-10am, have coffee and a light breakfast. I eat my bigger meal in the middle of my shift and plan some snacks. I exercise when I get off work (11pm-midnight) I have a boiled egg and english muffin with cream cheese after I work out. I only drink water other than…
