Endurance Gone Down?
For 6 weeks I've worked out about an average of 45 minutes a day, with 1 rest day a week. Mostly cardio. Last weekend and the beginning of this week I was able to add an hour of swimming, because we happened to be somewhere that had a pool. I felt great and was able to keep up. I took a rest day Thursday this week and now…

Food Scale Question
I've seen so many posts about weighing foods and going by the grams, which I totally get. But, a lot of times when I look up a food (with a green check, of course) I don't see an option with grams. For instance, I looked up jumbo eggs and the option I got was cups, fluid ounces and millilitres. Fluid ounce is going to be…

Slow loss, but super happy
The only other times I've been successful with weight loss has been with Weight Watchers. I've been doing MFP for about 6 weeks now (I've lost 6.6) and although I've only lost about half of what I would have by now with WW, for some reason I'm more proud this time around. And that really surprises me. I'm actually working…

Stretch Marks
Stretch marks always appear on me once I start to lose weight, or at least it's when I am able to notice them since my skin becomes looser... (it's one way I can tell my efforts are paying off, I guess that's a plus). Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions on what to use to help them look any better?

Daily Calorie Goal
I need some guidance - and please forgive me if I'm being thick in the head, I'm just trying to figure out the best thing to do. My exercise activity is about 70% aerobic and 30% strength building - all at home and with little equipment (I don't know if that is relevant). When I started MFP about 4 weeks ago is when I…

Starting out - new to fitness
So, I'm not new to eating healthier, but I am very new to exercise and trying to get fit. Over the last 6 years, I've lost about 75 lbs - just by eating better. Now, I'd really like to continue to lose AND also focus on toning my body. For the last 3 or 4 weeks, I've been just moving - I figured anything was better than…

Burned Calories - do you eat them?
This is, sadly, my first time to incorporate any exercise in my life, especially during a time when I'm choosing to eat better. Is it best to not eat your burned calories? Or does your body need more calories if you're working out and I should be eating then (or some)? Just curious on what works best for healthy weight…
