SOME QUESTIONS HELP PLEASE
So tonight will be "day" 20 of my weight loss journey. I haven't been missed a day at the gym & I usually go for an hour (two at the most) a day. I do the elliptical & lift weights. On the elliptical w/ resistance at 100 I usually burn 1000 cals. I'm eating 1270 & I have lost 6 lbs so far. My mom says a better work out…

If I'm eating 1270 calories a day and burning about 500-600 a day at the gym will I lose a lot of weight? Can someone explain to me what number my net calories would be at and what are net calories? I eat pretty healthy, I only slip up a few times and it's not like I binge so I'm doing good. I weight 223 and my goal is 149…
