I bike to keep lose weight and it is working. I just did 1h 47m of biking, averaging 13 mph. MFP states around 1100 calories burnt, where as my Polar app (with heart rate monitor sensor on my chest) states 1600. Averaged 160 bpm with a high of 182. Does anyone have thoughts on accuracy here? Hello All- Name is Tom. I am 34 and am about 20 lbs overweight. Started at 184 lbs. Even though my goal is small, I still see the hard effort it takes in dieting and exercise. I'm doing it on a bicycle. 45m 1h:30m rides burn 600-1000 calories. Glad to be here! :-)
