My first NSV of the year
I restarted my fitness routines this year a bit late (10 days ago) and I've been pushing myself hard. I've been keeping good track of my calorie intake almost always being under my goal & going really hard at the gym as well. Well it paid off yesterday. A coworker of mine saw me yesterday, did a double take of me and asked…

When/Where else do you wear your HRM
For those of us who have Heart rate monitors for exercising, it's a great tool. I'm curious if you guys wear them anywhere else and how many cals did you burn? I'm thinking... raking leaves, mowing the lawn, cleaning house, etc... post your results.

What do you during your workouts?
Hi all, New poster/member here. I've realized I'm a bit of a multitasker during my workouts. Rather than fight it. I've come to embrace it. If you see me at the Y, I'm the one on the Precor Elliptical machine/Stationary Bike/Treadmill/Stairclimber with headphones playing Vivaldi and reading a Kindle. What do you guys find…

HRM overtraining
I bought a Polar F6 heart rate monitor a few years ago when flexible spending accounts allowed such a thing as a medical expense. MFP calorie calculator not adding back calories for exercise
Hey all, Has anyone played around with this? I took the MFP goal calculator and started changing up the exercise plans and noticed the daily goal for calorie intake isn't changing. I checked the other websites and everyone's pretty close to my daily calorie goal. 6'2", 220 lbs. 32 years old sedentary lifestyle. BMI is…

Results delay, anyone else notice this?
I've jumped back into my routines that I didn't have time for during December and I haven't dropped a pound yet despite some intense exercising over the last three days (+800 calorie workouts according to the macine). I noticed this throughout last year. After that first big weight loss, my body goes into this "delayed…
