Back injury setback
So I finally got motivated again, made some great goals for myself. I have been taking a hip hop dance class that I LOVE, and I bought some tap shoes to begin a tap dancing class next week. I was in Week 2, Day 1 of the Couch to 5k plan, and planning to run a 5k St patty's day. Feeling awesome...and then wham. I strain my…

new runner's questions

how bad is it?
Ok, I just caved and ate chocolate ice cream (just one serving). I am still under my calories for the day...so how bad was that for me? Does splurging once in a while ruin all the hard work? Do I need to get on the treadmill now, or do I just try to do better tomorrow?

working out but gaining weight
Hi All, I am a 31 year old female. I have been following Jillian Micheals' "Mastering your Metabolism" health plan for 3 weeks now, working out 5- 6 days a week for two weeks, and have gained a couple pounds. I am trying not to be frustrated, but it is hard. I do FEEL better, and clothes are getting a bit looser, but…
