Why can there not be converstaion on this forum?
The gun thread got locked and it was for the most part a good debate. Only 1 instance I saw of name calling which happens in all other threads. It's pretty ridiculous that discussions can't be had on a discussion board. I guess rate the person above you's dog is the only thing allowed here.

sweet potatoes
I wanted to make mashed sweet potatoes but every recipe I see calls for a bunch of butter. Does anyone have a low calorie recipe for sweet potatoes, preferably mashed?

I have been reading some info on this program and have thought about trying it for a few months to see if it helps with building strength the way it claims to. Anyone have any experience with it?

Scale accuracy
So I got a new digital scale that is supposed to measure body fat and all that but I really just wanted it becasue it is easier to see small losses and gains with digital vs a dial. Current and goal weight

First 5K
I finished my first 5K over the weekend. TIme was 39:07. I had NEVER ran 3 miles at one time before so I was pretty glad that I was able to do it without stopping to walk, Doing another October 27 and shooting for 35:00 even.

What gives?
I have now went 3 months without losing a pound. I started at 2000 cals, didn't lose, went to 1750, didn't lose, went to 1500, didn't lose and have now changed to 1300. I am 6'11" and stuck at 280.
