Hi. Do hope someone can help. I recently read Strong Women Stay Young and decided to follow her programme as I prefer working at home on my own. But I am having a huge problem finding ankle weights that go up as high as 20lb on each ankle. They just don't seem to exist in the UK where I am and postage and tax from the US…
I've been using MFP since just before Xmas and eating to my metre and LCHF for just over a month. Aim for 1200 calories/day plus any extra from exercise and for about 10% carbs, 25% protein, 65% fat. In ketosis. Have lost just over 29lb so far. I've always been aware of the importance of low carb and managed my BS levels…
Have just started testing one and two hours after meals. Am slightly confused that one hour after a 27 carb lunch BS was 6.2 but after 2 hours was 7.2. In between the one and two hour test I had a slice of cold turkey. No carbs? So how did it go up?!
I believe it is possible to change the recommended % for carb, fat and protein given in Mfp. Does anyone know what are the recommended %s for Type 2 diabetics? Thanks Lynda
Hi, Can anyone recommend a lightweight digital food scale that I can keep in my bag (a rucksack). That weighs up to 1kg. And preferably can be reset to 0 (called a Tare scale I believe) while food is on it. Thank you! Lynda
