My first success....part way there
I started at 180 and my goal is 140, although myfitnesspal has helped so much I might adjust that further when I get there. I have lost 18 pounds... Which isn't quite half way, but IS 10% of my body weight GONE. So pleased. Next step.... Not to get side tracked at Christmas!

I binged.... Encouragement needed
After 6 honeymoon weeks of starting Mfp and feeling great, last night I binged horribly in my old style. Feeling sluggish physically today, but worse, feeling down and fragile, like I might not get going again. Any wiise words from those who have been here and kept going would be appreciated.

Newbie... What is strength training?
I am new. I am female, 5 feet tall and weigh 180. I am eating sensibly and walking. I have more than 40 pounds to lose. I keep reading about strength training. What is it? How do I do it? Do I have to join a gym? Thanks for any knowledgeable or experienced comments!:laugh:
