I did a one mile walk at 5mph (12 minutes). My HRM gave me a reading of 73 cals burned. Does that sound right? MFP estimates 179 for the same activity. I'm 250lb and 5'2" for reference.
I recently bought the FT7 and so far I love it. However, the more I read about how crucial the V02max is for an accurate reading, the more I'm considering upgrading to the FT40 and paying the $30 difference.
