To hell with bags of sugar. Someone told me this and it stuck with me: Visualise the excess weight as a real thing. For example, I have a stone and a half to lose - that's about the same as a badger. Why would I carry around a badger with me all of the time? It has better things to do, put it down and let it go snuffling…
