Well, my brother is 20 years old and he's SO skinny that he refuses to go to a gym! I'm trying to convince him to do workouts at home to put on some muscles, so the question is: What body building workout videos suit beginners??

Beginner workouts??
So, I tried doing Insanity twice, and both times I had to stop due to an injury. Now that I know I'm not fit enough to try such an intense workout schedule, which workouts suit beginners?? I've been told that TurboFire is less intense, but I read it's nor for beginners as well.. Any help??

Granola bars??
I've been advised by many people to eat a granola bar post-workout, but I also read they cause weight gain. I'm commited to a 1200-calorie diet plan and doing Insanity workouts, will these bars cause me to gain weight??

Ankle sprain, should I keep doing Insanity??
Well, it's my 3rd week doing Insanity workouts, but for my bad luck, I've got my left ankle sprained! I can't do many movements right, because I can't put much weight on my left ankle.. I don't wanna stop the workouts, is there any way I can keep going??
