Hello, I'm Sara from Egypt.. Today is my Day 1 and I'm so excited to "get ripped"!
-
Hello! I'm Sara from Egypt, 22 years old. 154 cm (5'1 I guess). My current weight is 63 Kg. Goal weight is 55 Kg. I'm doing Turbo Jam and LOVING it! :)
-
Thanks everybody! I know he ultimately will need to go to a gym. I just needed to show him there are many options if he's really willing to start.. As soon as he finishes his exams, I'm gonna kick him to the nearest gym! :)
-
I don't know what info you need. He never lifted or worked out before, which means he needs to build muscles from the very beginning, doesn't it??
-
Help, anyone?? He wouldn't handle PX90 or Body Beast, would he?
-
Thank you, but you know, a medical student's life is a mess. I want to get in shape, attend classes and study for exams, and I'm working as hard as I can!
-
Alright, I'll check Turbo Jam out and see what happens.. Thanks everybody for your suggestions! :)
-
Thanks, but the the thing is, I have no time for a personal trainer..
-
How about Turbo Jam??I read it suits beginners..
-
Thank you! :) But I know myself, I won't commit to something I can adjust on my own.. I need a schedule to follow, 'cause I'm such a procrastinator!
-
Thanks everybody for suggestions... :)

I see, but pre-workout food drives me to a lot of panting and sometimes it makes me sick.. Would a bar pre-workout be lighter than a regular meal??
-
I understand that processed food in general isn't advisable, but calorie-wise, do 85 calories post-workout cause weight gain?
-
I need to lose weight.. And surprisingly, 1200 calories with insanity got me plateauing for 3 weeks!
-
This's confusing...
-
How about these: http://healthyliving.azcentral.com/consume-carbs-after-cardio-3450.html http://www.wellnessword.com/blog/fitness-nutrition/powerful-exercise-recovery-nutrition-formula
-
But don't I need post-workout food to recover especially after a vigorous workout??
-
I've reached my 3rd week right before spraining my ankle.. Sadly, I now have to rest for a few days. Wanna recover soon and keep pushing! :)
-
I'm planning to redo month 1 anyway because I know I won't be fit enough to start month two! So if I take a week off, I guess it's okay to resume and restart month 1 later..
-
So rest seems to be the ultimate option! Alright, if I stop, should I start over or resume where I stopped?? I don't wanna lose the fitness I gained!
