How do I record if I've lost weight or not?
I'm new to MFP. How do I record if I have lost weight or not? Does it ask me at the end of each week or do I just go log it in somewhere? I've only been on here for 3 days now. Still learning. Thanks!

Don't eat all calories for the day, seems to benefit, BUT...
So after a full day of recording. When I go to register my diary of foods and exercise for the day. If I do not eat all of the suggested calories for the day, it tells me I will should lose 20 lbs. in 5 weeks! It also says I could put my body in starvation mode. Why are we to add the calories we exercise off?
So my understanding was always that you want to exercise off additional calories to lose weight. Why is it the calories you burn from exercise are added onto your daily calorie intake on the daily diet calculator? I'm sure there is a really good reason, I just don't know it.
