Am I on the right track?
There is so much confusion about 1200 cal vs. TDEE method, it's hard to determine if your doing the right thing. I am currently doing 1200 calories PLUS I eat most of my exercise calories back. I use a scale to measure out my food. I walk 3.0-3.5mph for 30 mins 6 days a week and lift 3 days a week. Doing the NWOLFW (new…

time of the day I do measurements?
I have a question, I just completed the first level of 30DS this morning but did not have time to do my measurements this morning. Does it matter if I do it this evening? Will it make a difference? Or should I wait and do it before my workout in the morning?

Which at home DVD most Effective?
I would like to lose weight and inches. I am 5'6 and weigh 202pds. My body fat is roughly 46%. I am currently doing 4 days lifting dumbells (7 & mostly 15pds) and other 2 days I do some cardio on a treadmill at home. I would like to start a "program" on Monday. Doing it for the time required (30 days, 90 days, etc.) and see…

"You are Your Own Gym" Bodyweight exercises effective?
I am just curious. I've been doing "Body by You" for 3wks. I definitely feel it when I am doing the exercises. However, I guess I'm so use to thinking if your heart doesn't feel like it's about to jump out of your chest it isn't effective. I do want to lose weight and the scale hasn't been friendly. I've been the same…

Body By You
I am on week 2 of the Body by you. I don't have money for a gym membership or "heavy" weights/barbells. The Body by You allows me to use "body weight". I am doing about 30 mins of walking/jogging on my off days. I am able to do the full 12 reps of each exercise in my time allowed intervals. I guess I should advance to the…

lost inches but gained BF???
So since Feb. 28th I lost 3 pds and lost a couple inches total overall. When I went to recalculate my BF from last time (2/28) using the same calculator (fat to fit radio military body fat) I actually gained? I went from 45.8 to 46.3??? I started following "body by you" just this week, but prior I was doing 6 days a week…

Uncertain which TDEE calculator to use?
I started MFP Feb. 1st this year. I started out doing what MFP set up for me which I believe was 1390 calories plus most times my exercise calories. ( provided by MFP) I don't believe my HRM watch from Walmart is accurate either. I worked out 5 days a week doing 30-45 min DVDs (various ones). Lost 1/2 inch and 2 pds in 2…

Am I eating enough??
I have been reading many posts, where people are using the TDEE -20-25% to lose weight. I just recently changed my MFP goals to 1.5pds a week as having at 1pd a week was not working. MFP tells me to eat 1290 calories before exercise. Afterwards with exercise it's more like 1600 calories that I am consuming. Well my BMR is…

Getting a little discouraged
I too am a little bit discouraged. I have been exercising 4-5days a week for at least the past 6-7months. Doing mostly Zumba DVD, Jackie Warner DVD or a combination of different Biggest Loser DVDs. I alternate between them, hardly ever doing the same one two days in a row. I recently about 2wks ago added 3 pd dumb bells…
