I'll be 37 this week, so based on age, my "estimated" max heart rate is (220-37)183 bpm, by the most typical convention I've seen. I just bought a heart rate monitor, and took it out for a spin on my jog tonight. I ran about 2 miles, which took me about 24 minutes (12 min mile, or about 5 mph), jogging the whole distance.…
I recently started a jogging regiment, and after a week and a half had to stop due to bursitis in my knee, specifically in the pes anserinus. I had this issue once before, years ago, when I was much heavier. Does anyone else have this issue? What do you do to prevent it?
