Elliptical at home- how much am I actually burning?
I use my elliptical at home and it says I burn 160 cals. in 20 minutes (or about 10 cals. higher or lower depending on the program I use). However when I look up the elliptical exerciser on MFP and plug in 20 mins. it says I burn 307 cals.!!! That is a HUGE discrepancy. Surely either my elliptical or the website is wrong.…

Fat or Carbs or Sodium, oh my!
Which is the MOST important to stay under on my daily food goal- fat, carbs or sodium? I'm having a hard time balancing! I plan my meals out the day before or the morning of so I have time to "adjust" things and not eat in the moment, KWIM?

Getting back into the swing of things!
Hey all, I logged back in yesterday for the 1st time in about 9 or 10 months. In that amount of time, I have gained over 20 lbs. I'm BACK and have more motivation than ever. I am VERY overweight (I need to lose about 85 lbs.) and it's now or never! So glad to be back :)

How to prevent cramps when exercising?
I usually wait about 2 hours after eating to exercise, because I get cramps in my side. Sometimes I still get them, even after I waited that long, or even longer! Why does this happen and how can I prevent it? I hate cutting my workouts short cuz I'm in pain.

How many times per week should I do cardio?
On my elliptical? I do 5 days/45 mins. per day but would it be OK to do 6 days?

Lost 5.5 lbs. but my jeans are tighter!
How can this be explained? I work out w/ my elliptical if that makes a difference. I've been doing 45-50 min. a day at least 5 days/week. Is this supposed to happen?
